Torchwood 2x11 - Adrift: Oh. Oh. Oh wow. Just like everyone else said, it was good. Very, very good, in fact. It was quiet, understated, something that Torchwood never is. It was also very nicely paced, and it was emotive without being melodramatic. Sure, it's TW, so there's still some WTF moments, but overall, I'm very pleased. I liked this idea, of Gwen ruining everything she touches. And the way she can learn from it. This is probably the more character development we've ever seen of her, and I'm happy. Also, Gwen/Rhys makes me happy like you wouldn't believe - their first scene of undeluted HAPPINESS just made me GRIN and I CRINGED at Gwen shouting at him but I loved how he stood his ground. And that last scene. oh. so lovely. Also, the case was interesting, touching and well treated, in my opinion.
I seem to have a lower and lower tolerance of Jack. God, he's been so annoying as of lately. I love DW Jack - it's TW Jack that I can't stand. Also, GRATUITOUS JACK/IANTO WAS GRATUITOUS. COLOR ME SURPRISED. *eyeroll*

But TW Jack makes me mad too. I can sort of see why he's so frustrating about things, but...
