Okay, now that Torchwood is actually good, I have high hopes (HIGH HOPES, YOU HEAR ME?) that Doctor Who will blow us all away.

Because if they managed to turn one of the most ridiculous shows ever into a proper sci-fi show with added shiny, then, then they can do anything.

So yes. I'll be highly disappointed if the Doctor floats again or some other crap like that. Very, very disappointed.

I know, through most of this season I've been sat there thinking, "OMG, is this TORCHWOOD?!"

I'm still SCARED about season 4 but in a good way now... I think. But I have to admit, I didn't hate floaty!tinkerbell!jeebus!Doctor.

Hee, a friend recently showed me a few episodes from midway through S1 and I was all, "Holy shit! This is so much better than the pilot episode which I really didn't like!" ;) So it looks like I'm watching two seasons of Torchwood with her when we have a chance ...

Well to be honest, pretty much ALL of S1 sucks. Okay, not everything, ep 9 and 12 were pretty decent. But it just suffers a lot in comparison, because S2 is made of SHINY. I--I CAN'T QUITE BELIEVE IT'S THE SAME SHOW.

I guess it's Martha's effect. They knew she was coming on board so they had to make the show worthy of her. Yes. *cough*
