I mean, that was fucking beautiful, but NO. PLEASE NO. THEY'VE RETCONNED WORSE, HAVEN'T THEY? SURELY THEY CAN DO IT AGAIN?

*goes off to, dunno, despair, somewhere else*

No matter how BLAH AND ANNOYING Gray was and how WTF was Jack being buried for 2000 years and how OMG SHUT UP was Jack's angst and how fantastic was taking another look at one of those Victorian Torchwood Lesbians and how Gwen finally came into her own and how Rhys and Andy were awesome beyond belief and how Captain John was a bit WTF but not enough to be too much--

--and how Owen was lovely in the end and how Tosh was brilliant and knew it---

Oh God. I can't get over their deaths. Especially Toshiko. She got a fantastic death, yes - she WAS brilliant and brave and amazing and she walked Owen through his own death and she suffered but didn't die alone and OMG NOW I'LL START CRYING AGAIN. The final part of the episode (barring Gray, who was dull and boring and FUCK) was so good (that hug of the survivors, at the end, OH MY HEART) and STILL I CALL RETCON. NO NO NO TOSH IS TOO AWESOME TO DIE.
