Went to see Incredible Hulk today, and guess what, it was GOOD! :D Not amazing, not like Iron Man was, but I gotta say I do like this new trend of Marvel of hiring actually decent actors. It makes wonders, yes. So yes, it was AGES better than Ang Lee's version. Not surprising, though, that one was so bad. It was in SPANISH, though. They weren't SHOWING it in English. AAARGH I HATE it when they do that - they're only supposed to do that when it's a kids film, which this obviously isn't. I'm not sure if I'll see it again, but if I do, I'll have to find a decent cinema that doesn't have a thing against literacy.
The thing is: I'm not a great Hulk fan. Find him a bit of a drag, really. This means that whenever the actual Hulk was on screen I was a bit ERRRR about it, although shit exploding is always nice. BUT, whenever it was Bruce Banner on screen, I LOVED it. OH, EDWARD NORTON. YOU ROCK SO HARD. It was all very subtle but still powerful, and I have to say I ADORED him with Liv Tyler - they had so much chemistry and all of their scenes together were just ace - Jennifer Connelly sucked as Betty Ross, I have to say, but Liv, oh, she was just so good in the role; they're believable together. ME LIKES. It was also very Bourne Identity, or something, which I rather liked as well.
Okay, there are three reasons for which I wanted to see this movie. They were:
1. TONY FUCKING STARK CAMEO, PEOPLE.
2. Edward Norton
3. Liv Tyler
And because my life is JUST like that, my brother said, really loudly 'OH MY GOD IS THIS WHY YOU WANTED TO SEE IT SO BAD??' the minute RDJ walks through that door (he knows me, the bugger) and I COULDN'T LISTEN TO WHAT HE WAS SAYING VERY CLEARLY. AAAAAAAAH. Anyway, I still smiled ideotically the minute I saw Tony all siluetted by light and being awesome. I DID, I DID.
Also, guess who squee'd at the mention of the super soiler programme? EEEEEH.
Anyway. Favorite scenes: Bruce learning Portuguese with a dictionary and sesame street, lol. Bruce in the tub, oh my heart. The entire haircut scene. Betty stepping on Bruce's foot on the plane, it was such a lovely lovely moment and yes, I kinda do ship them now. Because AWWW.

So are they making an Avengers movie now or something? Is that what we are suppose to get from the ending with Tony?
And yes Ed Norton is just SEX and he was fantastic in this role. Subtle but perfect. But when is he ever bad? Oh it was great. I hope he gets his shit together and makes nice with Universal so he can be in the sequels.

Yep, it's scheduled for 2011, but I'm not sure how it'll work - I mean, there's ALREADY a Capt. America movie coming out (the same year, if I'm not mistaken), and if Tony appeared (it'd be WEIRD having an Avengers movie and not have him or Steve in it, wouldn't it?), it'd be sort of Iron Man OVERLOAD, you know? So, dunno.
Exactly - there's just no way for him to go wrong! Boy, is he awesome. :33 waaaait, he's quarreling with them? The sequels would be baaad without him. o_O

Well, with the success of Iron Man, I doubt they're thinking it would be an overload, I think all the studios want is more money. So they would probably do something ridiculous like that.
Yeah, Edward has been having problems with Universal since the movie stopped filming. He wanted to re-edit the film himself, then they wouldn't let him do that so he decided not to advertise the movie. So all of that fell on Liv whose been doing most of the leg work to get the movie out there. And now everyone, most of the actors and the director have signed on for the next film except for Edward who is asking for more money or he won't sign. I find it amusing he wants more money since he's barely in the movie, haha. I don't know I mean Edward is know for stuff like that so who knows what will happen.

Liv Tyler was so-so, I love her, but I didn't quite get her as Betty. Too Arwen-ish. Another person mentioned Connelly as well. Why? Was she supposed to play Betty? All I can say is thank God Connelly wasn't in it, and I apologize if you were a fan, but Connely, despite being a good actor, I don't know, just looking at her makes me feel depressed. So Liv is all right.
I've watched it twice already!
Btw, the girl at the factory, the one Bruce was trying to protect from the goon. Any idea who she was? I thought she looked familiar.
I don't follow Hulk the comic so i have no idea who Stark was. People were ooh and aah-ing when he came on screen and I was like, what? what?
And Lou Ferrigno, I thought he'd look a lot older than that!

Mmm, I don't know, I really didn't think of her as Arwen-ish, she was much more sweeter, but oh well. I found her adorable.
Nope - for a moment I wondered if it was Alice Braga, since she's becoming so hotshot and stuff, but she would've been given at least one line.
Ahhhh, you seriously haven't seen Iron Man yet? GO. NOW. SO AWESOME. That'd be Tony Stark - he's not quite from Hulk's comics, he has his own; as it is, Bruce cameos in his comics more than the other way around.
