I bought my very first cookbook yesterday! Before y'all start going 'Awww, poor child, she never had a cookbook before', let's clarify that there's actually a lot of cookbooks in my house, my dad being the little cooking enthusiast that he is, only I'd never bought on for myself, because I'd always thought that going to a book store and coming out with something non-fiction was a horrible crime. LOL. I was also THIS close to getting this amazing chocolate recipes book (aaah, I forgot the author's name! Damn), but it was way too expensive, no matter how awesome and what a lovely design it had. Boo.

The thing is, I am desperate to get baking again, especially no that I don't have internet at home. BUT, life is unfair and a technician has to go and dunno, do SOMETHING to it so it'll finally get working. It suuuucks so much. I just want to make those wheat apple muffins with brown sugar on top, damnit. ;____; (And chocolate lava cakes. And ice cream. And, dunno, ANYTHING SWEET.)

I'll also be sewing some cushions for myself. Or attempting to, because I'm pants at sewing. I sometimes wish I could like heavy machinery and mechanics to defy gender stereotypes, but no such luck. OH, SELF, WHY MUST YOU BE SO GIRLY.

Omg, ME TOO! I wanna know how to change oil and fix cars! Only, I don't want to have to like learn it or anything, I JUST WANNA KNOW IT.

I KNOW! Like, I don't even know how to fix a FLAT TIRE. It is--it is EMBARASSING (considering a friend from college shows up at school every like, two weeks with grease up her elbows saying OH, IT WAS NOTHING, JUST A FLAT TIRE, EASY BREEZY all smily and I'm like UUUUH MAKE ME ASHAMED OF MYSELF, WHY WON'T YOU. :/)

That's why I love going to the school's industrial design workshop, where there's always girly girls dressed in pink and with little bows in their hair using gigantic electrical saws and welding stuff. Lol.

Oh God, me neither! This seems like something we should know!

Ha, that's awesome! I wanna play with power tools at school! *g*

This is a line I didn't know I'd been waiting for until I read it. \o/

Good luck!

I will never get how people can go into a book store and come out with like, a How to Fix Your Motorcycle manual. Or Who Stole My Cheese. o_O

When can you get your oven working?!

I was just thinking about more muffins today myself... But I have bananas wasting away so I was thinking maybe banana walnut.

But, dude, you must get back to baking! It is LIFE.

No ideaaa. The technic came today, and apparenty a valve or something equally weird is damaged and we have to wait for the spare to arrive. Which could take from 3 to 15 days. WHYYYYYY. (I must mention that the oven is brand new. So unfair.)

MMMM, BANANA WALNUT. AWESOME. Of all the stuff I baked last holidays, the banana cupcakes were the best. Make them and post picturrrres. :D

Aaaaah, don't even mention it. ;_____;

I mentioned you the other day while trying to explain to my mom why I want so desperately to bake again, haha. I said something like 'and a friend of mine went HARDCORE and got herself a STANDING MIXER, MOTHER, THAT IS SO AWESOME' and she was all like '... okay. whatever.' she really doesn't like cooking, lol.

Every time I think banana now, I think chocolate and peanut butter. I can't help it!! My mind's wired weird. But when you said banana cupcakes, I thought 'Hmmm, with chocolate icing or maybe a layer of peanut butter AND chocolate icing...'

And OMG I'm your Hardcore Cooking Friend!? THAT IS THE GREATEST THING EVER.

Oh and as for your question on the blog: yes! The colored background is oversized paper. Shhh! Trade secret! :D
