I finally had enough guts to watch Who. I'd been putting it off because I don't want it to be over and becase everyone was saying it was so awesome. And guess what, IT WAS. ÑALSDJFLSDKJF.

Doctor Who 4x11 – Turn Left: HOLY SHIT THAT WAS FUCKING INCREDIBLE. I. JUST. OH MAN. OH, DONNA.

Seriously, it was just so damn intense, every single moment of it. And the way it just built up and up – watching the Racnoss star and the hospital in mars from the outside, and then London gone and it was just so scary and oppressive and just those mentions of all those people, dying instead of living because they still had to save the world, Doctor or no Doctor there to save it.

And Donna. Donna. They way she grew, the way she changed, the way she and her family suffered and her panic and her resolve and her death and OH GOD I LOVE HER SO MUCH. SHE IS BEYOND AMAZING. She saves the universe. That is my girl.

And Rose! Oh, Rose! That was just light years beyond my expectations (they were small, they were). She was brave and capable and still a bit reckless and yeah, she’s partly doing this because of the Doctor, but most of all, she’s doing it because the universe must be saved. And that, the Rose that puts the world first, is the Rose I adored.

The Doctor’s absence hurts, in a way, seeing how much he’s needed and yet how much he’s not, because the world goes on and, sometimes, the world still gets saved.

(It’s sort of sad that the Master wasn’t covered at all, but then again, with the Doctor dead, the Master doesn’t really have much else to live for.)

I just keep going añlsjfalsdj about it, can’t seem to stop thinking about it either – I’m loving S4 for the most part, but I hadn’t liked an episode that much in a long time, or kept going over and over it in my mind for so long.

But mostly, mostly I just love how instead of being all about Rose’s sparkly speshfulness as seen by RTD, this episode was all about how Donna Noble Is So Fucking Amazing. ♥♥

I am working on getting The Stolen Eearth right now and asldfjasj so excited!! :D OH, WHO. I LOVE YOU SO.

During the weekend, I saw my baby brother graduate high school, looking all smily and tall in a toga that didn't even reach his ankles and holding up his diploma like it was the darn best sight he'd ever seen. I'm so proud of him. Also this weekend, I grew frustrated over my dad instructing me how to drive as if I hadn't been driving an hour and a half to school every single day for the past two years on my own.

I also made paper flowers and watched Hors de Prix starring Audrey Tautou, which was just unbelievably cute and adorable and funny and feautured the French Riviera as pretty much a third main character in such a beautiful way. One of the best comedies I've seen in a long while, it left me smiling like an idiot.

The Master couldn't have been covered because Martha wasn't around to travel with the Doctor and get to the end of the universe to un-fobwatch Yana in the first place. That is probably the one good thing to come out of the universe without the Doctor, actually, cos I don't think it would have been a really terrible end for the Master, dying as a sweet and brilliant old man.

I like Rose a slight bit better in Turn Left than in Stolen Earth, but keep the expectations tiny and you will be pleasantly pleased. :D

¡Oh Ale!

OMG! ¡Que buen episodio! Me imagino que estas sin spoilear ¿verdad? Creo que asi lo disfrutarás mucho más.

That was beautifully put! I agree with you, I seriously love Donna so much! She is amazing! I really loved this season because for me S3 was a disappointment expect for the final episodes (The Master!!!) but this one is just so amazing because of Donna.

Is it bad of me to think that Tate's acting just keeps getting better with each episode? At first it was a little campy but now it's just so wonderful, but I suppose it also has to do with her character's growth. This show seriously depressed me and it had me on the edge.

I've taken to watching the episodes at night around midnight and it's always bad because I can't sleep afterwards! Haha.

Donna Donna Donna!

and Rose!

one of my graduate student teachers last semester looked like a weary, study-worn Audrey Tatou. She was still adorable and I wish I could have done better in that class...
