Reptilectric the album: It's pretty good, quite beautiful and fantastically interpreted, and yet, at first listen it all sounds a bit too alike, the songs sort of bleed into each other. But give me a day or two to learn all the songs by heart and listen to it a couple of hundred times and I'll be in love with it. ♥ ♥
Reptilectric: Nice, but weird. Mosty, this is SO WRONG for a single. Just. I've no idea what they're thinking as of lately, they've been using the worst songs for singles for two albums, and YET they're more famous than ever, it's so BIZARRE. But good, obviously, although now I have to deal with a couple of thousand extra prats in their concerts.
Nada: Quite vintage and utterly gorgeous in its mellowness - the kind of song that makes you think of metaphors of pools and how you want to dip yourself in it
Sombras: Very 80s. Reptileptric's response to Memo Rex's No Me Destruyas. Simple and nice and that's it.
No Hay Dolor: Nice, but simple. It hardly feels like Zoé, though. And yet, good guitar. Slightly 70s-ish.
Poli: Very, very 60s. I AM FEELING A TREND HERE. Lovely, really, though, I liked it lots.
OH, ROCANLOVER. A VECES EXTRAÑO TU NOVEDAD.
Neandertal While León's falsetto is distracting, the music is gorgeous, and the arrangements and really really pretty. Again, mellow, but I guess the entire album is like that.
Fantasma: Slightly boring, if I have to be honest. This is Paula's evil twin, and Paula bores me too, really. It's prettier, though.
Luna: Gets beautiful by the end, but it's quite boring at the beginning. YET MORE MELLOWNESS. REMEMBER ASTEROIDE, ZOÉ? I FELL FOR YOU WITH THAT SONG. DO THAT AGAIN.
Últimos Días: Nice and fun. The kind of song that you like more and more as you listen to it again and again.
Babilonia: Fucking gorgeous. The most powerful song in the album, hands down. The lyrics are even more disjointed than usual, though, and León was obviously QUITE HUNGRY apart from QUITE HIGH (but that's like, a given, with him, lol) while writing it, haha.
Also! The CD comes with a preview of the 281107 DVD (of their live performance in Mexico City a year ago, for those that don't know) and lajflskdjf it looks so utterly fantasticcccc.

Raro.
