Zomg, so tired. And yet sort of triumphant! There was a bit of DESIGN EMERGENCY (lol) in social service today, since one of the firm's clients needed a project reshaped ASAP. (Oh, yeah, I go to a interior design firm, although I'm in the graphic design department) . She had it all (made by an architect, my God, which accounted for the crappy design) in photoshop, and uuuugh I hate designing with layers in projects like this. AND YET! I totally kicked its ass, mwahahaha. She wanted to pay me a bit, and I didn't want to accept in front of the other people there because I'm not supposed to get paid in social service. She insisted and said she'd get the money to me later, and I'd sort of LOVE that 'cause money is would sit rather well with me right now. PLZ LADY, PAY ME PLZ. ;___; I even stayed for two hours longer than I'm supposed to, so I'm entitled to SOMETHING, even if it's just extra hours.

School was also tiresome and long and exhausting BUT! It doesn't matter! Why?

BECAUSE I TOTALLY SAW QUINO YESTERDAY. QUINO, PEOPLE. L;ASJFLSKJDFLSDJF. Okay, context: The International Book Fair (FIL) started on Saturday, and I went there yesterday to gorge myself in books (yessss). It was awesome and I did some really good purchases (although the design books were hella expensive, woe), and then I was just randomly walking through the international pavillion and lo and behold! Quino was walking down the alley towards me, surrounded by bodyguards, lol. I sort of joined the people walking behind him (he was going to a book signing) and kept on almost hyperventilating and thinking OMG I'M TOTALLY SEEING QUINO'S BALDSPOT OMG HIS LITTLE BALD HEAD OMGGGGG. Some friends got to see his conference, which, you know, ENVY.

IN CASE YOU CAN'T TELL ALREADY, I FANGIRL THE MAN SOMETHING FIERCE. YES. But. You know. Mafalda. ♥

(I totally missed out on seeing Gabriel García Márquez, though. He was in a conference called 'Carlos Fuentes and friends', luuuulz, with other awesome people. SIGH.)
