nekare at 08:26pm on 14/10/2010I've been reading Arthur/Eames Inception fic non-stop for the last few days. It's been a nice time, except for the fact that I'm not supposed to be reading Arthur/Eames Inception fic, I'm supposed to be looking for a job.
I really hate my avoiding tendencies in the face of things that unsettle me. And yet, I keep on doing it. Ugh.

Maybe you can check if there are staffing agencies in your area? They look primarily for office work, but they can give you a good start in the job arena.
Also, if you're not familiar with a company, and a position sounds pretty good, almost too good? Search for their name and see if there's a hiring scam related to that company (I'm not sure what's the word for "scam" in Spanish). Some companies are fake and just use your information for who knows what, or they have jobs that are pretty much a scam (a "marketing position" is selling oil on a picnic table at a gas station and you barely get enough money to cover anything).
