Went looking for tango academies with teh best friend. I love how no matter for how long we haven't seen each other, we're still able to speak so damn easily, and have this actually comfortable silence - even if we're soooo different. But well, it was fun, and boy, I've been wanting to learn tango for ages (senior year of high school, I think). Oh, and there's nothing better than feeling sexy and having men whistle at you all day long. Nothing.

Kent continues to rock my socks off. Even if I don't understand a word XD But whatever. [livejournal.com profile] verbalthing! What does 'Dom Andra' mean? I really like that song. Oh, and I discovered how to get the Diéresis (or whatever it's called on other languages) on my computer: ä. Ain't it pretty?

Finally got to see Nichts Bereuen last night, and ooh, it was good. Not all-time favorite material, like Love in Thoughts is, but good nonetheless. Good acting, good photography, and this ocasional really, really funny moments that left me giggling madly. And Daniel Brühl. Did I mention Daniel Brühl? A nice movie about coming of age, and teenagers and sex.

On more serious news, México right now? It's a fucking circus. The candidate that lost in the elections claims that it was just a scam, and he went on strike on Paseo de la Reforma, Mexico City's, and by proxy, of the entire country, most important avenue. Oh, and he installed joyrides and a plastic grass soccer field for the people camping there. WTF?? Now, his party went and actually went on strike in the actual Legislative Chamber, and President Vicente Fox couldn't give his annual activities report. The President. I mean, really, wtf? This is way out of control - and it was better that he didn't even enter the chamber, the thing looked like violence. *sigh* They say they won't even let him give the 'grito', a tradition from Independence Day in September 15. *shakes head in confusion*

I am so jealous, I can't convince any of my friends to take dancing lessons with me. I would die if I could take Argentine Tango lessons, seriously.

Oooh, another Daniel movie, do you realize my list of "must see" is getting long? XD

I saw something on the news about what's going on in Mexico. That's insane. I'm sorry to hear that,

I kept on trying to drag them for ages and then suddenly Karen, my best friend, started taking salsa lessons and it's all like 'yaaaay, dancing is gooood' and is dragging all of her friends from there. I don't know any of them, so that should be awkward, but there you go. I love dancing too much to complain, though.

Haha, mine is too! I'm really hell bent in getting 'The Edukators', but it's proving difficult ;-;

Insane indeed! And it's all you hear about these days. What, world outside? Nah, we've enough troubles of our own. *sigh*

My friend Jessica and I were supposed to take lessons, but she forgot about our deal. I can't think of who else to drag, most places you have to bring a partner and all my guy friends just don't dance, le sigh.

Maybe it's not out in Mexico yet? My sister watched it the other day and loved, and she never likes movies, so that says something :D

"dom andra" - if that's Swedish, it means "the others". Although I'd have thought it would be spelt "dem", only pronounced "dom". The Swedes do that with their pronouns :).

Oh, cool! I wouldn't really know, but that's how it was spelled in Amazon...

Thanks. :)

Oooh, interesting! Languages are kind of an obsession of mine - I just love finding out about this stuff. :)

I know, they're AWESOME! It's really too bad I can't seem to be able to download a lot, though...

But but but. It's also exciting, isn't it? Sometimes, I would like a bit of a change here. People are so lethargic about politics. *sighs*

Weeell that's a point, but right now, all you hear/discuss/talk about is politics, even with friends...

Thing is, this is getting serious, and the asshole of the other candidate claims he'll be the 'real' president. *eyeroll* The only other time in history we've had two presidents was in the late 1800s, and it meant war. *shudder*

Which is still better than 3/4 of a generation not having the slightest idea who their president is. Okay, maybe it's not this bad - I hope - and at least most of them know the name of their current chancellor, but you get the idea. *rolls eyes*

Uh-oh. O.o Okay, we can't have that. In Germany, we've got a Grand Coalition at the moment, but I think there's a law that you can only have one chancellor - and obviously for a reason. *g*
