I just realized the original for my remixredux is about 450 words. And the minimum words for me are 500. *growls* Oh well, I'll go and add a lot. Later. Because I've still haven't written anything else. And I didn't do practically any homework. *fails at life*

I went to see Memoirs of a Geisha today, and I loved it. The magic from the book was really well captured, and the pace didn't feel as hurried as it could have. The visual part... That was simply gorgeous. Too beautiful and too well done. *drools* the colors!! (why yes, I am a color whore.) I'm not that happy with the crappy accents one has to endure, and Sayuri's voice, especially bugger me a bit. It's too soft, somehow. But in all, it was really, really, good, and I wouldn't mind seeing it again. Brokeback Mountain tomorrow, if I'm lucky *crosses fingers*

The simultaneous translation bugs me a bit ('cause the people go and have entire conversations over someone's speach...), but I'd have to hear it at top volume to get everything, and most of the jokes, I don't get at all. Oh well.
