And you know what? I miss Captain Jack. My Captain Jack, the one that flirted with everything that moved (and a few things that didn't), and was funny and awesome. I can't really see him in this Jack Harkness, oh-so-mysterious Torchwood leader. Like, for example, I just read Quantum is a just fancy word for "hell if I know", Jack/Ianto, (I can't really see this ship as possible at this point in the series, but I wanted to know what the fuzz was all about), and this Jack was much more Doctor Who's Jack than this entire season of Torchwood. *shrug* *sigh*

Anyway, Countrycide was doing rather okay, and the tension was good until ( that very stupid thing happened ) OMG LAME. LAME. *shakes head* Still, SPN's The Benders rip-off much? I was half expecting Sam and Dean Jumping inside and yelling 'but hadn't we dealt with you already?' (Then of course, Dean would go in a mighty crusade to find a sheep, and Sam would roll his eyes and tell him to let it go already and Dean would say "NO!! We're in fucking Wales, I HAVE to take a picture of myself with a sheep! Where's the Goddamn sheep when you need them?!)

Um. Other than that, Toshiko is the best of them all. Hands down. ( And aww... ) Gwen/Owen make me go EWWW. That might have to do with the fact that I can't decide whether Owen looks like a human, an ape, or a frog. Or a badly drawn cartoon. That too.

And Rusty's gay agenda makes me go *eye roll*. WE GET IT RUSTY. You don't have to go and make every single character bisexual, you know?

It's been quite a nice weekend. I got together with some friends on Friday, and we watched Amelié and Goodbye Lenin!, two of my favoritest movies ever. The former I hadn't seen in a couple of years, and OMG BUT HOW CAN IT GET MORE BEAUTIFUL? I have to buy it. And the later, well, two words. DANIEL BRÜHL. Yeah.

Other than that, I've just stayed in and randomly eaten yummy stuff and watched Torchwood like crazy. ( Ep. 8, They Keep Killing That Certain Spoiler, was especially good. )

Anyway, it's been some time since I last shared music, hasn't it?

This is a local band, which is getting steadily more and more famous. I actually met the lead vocalist in the Yeah Yeah Yeahs concert; she was real nice, even when a friend's sister was flailing madly and asking for photos.
