I tend to get downright obsessive with things for a while, be it a book, or a tv series, or a movie, or music; and I won't rest until I own it. I go through those phases when I can't think of nothing else. This is just a bit of an opener so you'll have an idea of the frenzy I got myself in.

[livejournal.com profile] mellafe, being the awesome, wonderful friend that she is, uploaded the soundtrack of Atonement for me, and I said 'OMG YAYZ' and listened to it and realized it was very, very good. Then I went and watched the trailer again because really, I am incredibly hyped up about this film (I even left the book reserved at my favorite book store, remember?). And then, oh my! I realized that the gorgeous song in the middle of the trailer wasn't part of the sountrack! So, I started looking for it. I will not bore you with the details but see that paragraph on top? That's how I got. Craaaazy.

BUT. I'm nothing if not perseverant and now I come here to offer it back: X-Ray Dog - The Vesion.

Don't let the composer's name bias you (I did a bit of a wtf face myself), the song is just beautiful.

ARGH, my stupid earphones DIED. I mean, I'm not supposed to be surprised, because they're almost four years old, but the actua iPod earphones died around this time last year as well and now I'll have to either take my bulky headphones to school (not happening) or steal my dad's. Poor dad, he'll be earphone-less, lol. (And don't even get me started in how incredibly expensive iPod earphones are. 60 dlls? For real? I wanted to get a new pair last year, and gave up and went on using my shitty, old black sony ones.)

I still have a lot of homework to do but I've still done NOTHING of it. I kind just stare at the open Illustrator window. *sigh* I also have to take pictures of me, because we're supposed to draw ourselves for Graphic Expression IV. Ugh, I hate doing that. Your self-confidence goes down the drain. (Still, it's better than a friend's class assignment: Draw yourselfe while riding a dragon. Yes. No, I've no idea what had that professor smoked before saying that. o_O)

The Fountain is finally out in DVD in here and I'm itching, itching to buy it, but the artwork is so so ugly. How could they have achieved that with such a gorgeous-looking film, that's anybody's guess.

Oh yeah, and I uploaded Bajofondo Tango Club's new album, Mar Dulce. Mostly composed by Gustavo Santaolalla and with such varied guest vocals such as Gustavo Cerati, La Mala Rodríguez or Nelly Furtado, this is tango in the way of electronica. I love this 'collective', all of their music is brilliant. (especially live! which is a weird thing for electonic-like music.)

I kinda want to see some of Seven's serials, because I've heard Ace is Smashing and Very Explosive Indeed and that Seven is Somewhat Insane And Badly Dressed Although Not As Badly Dressed As That Bloke Before Him With The Blond Afro. So. Which serials should I watch, oh wise flist?

In return, I have fic recs, yayz. Of the Doctor/Master and Doctor/Martha fashion, even. )

Okay, so there's that and the fact that, surprisingly, I've really liked all the songs I've listened from Babyshambles new album, Shotter's Nation. Pete Doherty's life right now is kinda on ruins right now, but it seems that at least musically, he's managed to pull himself together, finally. My favorite song other than Delivery is There She Goes, which is jazzy and classy and I gotta say, at least Kate Moss was a good muse, because it's such a lovely song. (I do miss those good old days [hee] when all of Pete's songs were about Carl and all of Carl's songs were about Pete, though.)

I was listening to The Libs on my way back to school, though, and by God, but I'd forgotten how insanely happy Don't Look Back Into The Sun and the rest of their songs make me. ♥ Babyshambles might be getting better, but it's still nowhere near the Libs.

It's been quite a nice weekend. I got together with some friends on Friday, and we watched Amelié and Goodbye Lenin!, two of my favoritest movies ever. The former I hadn't seen in a couple of years, and OMG BUT HOW CAN IT GET MORE BEAUTIFUL? I have to buy it. And the later, well, two words. DANIEL BRÜHL. Yeah.

Other than that, I've just stayed in and randomly eaten yummy stuff and watched Torchwood like crazy. Ep. 8, They Keep Killing That Certain Spoiler, was especially good. )

Anyway, it's been some time since I last shared music, hasn't it?

Filter - Take My Picture
Bengala - Carretera
Bengala - Tirate
*points above* nooo idea where they're from. Probably Mexico, though. Carretera had me obsessed for a long time, it's just that good.
Elis Paprika - No puedo
Elis Paprika - Bitch
This is a local band, which is getting steadily more and more famous. I actually met the lead vocalist in the Yeah Yeah Yeahs concert; she was real nice, even when a friend's sister was flailing madly and asking for photos.

I have this warm, nice feeling in my gut. Dunno, it was just a nice day, relaxing since I was doing color degradations for Fundaments, and then using my fancy markers - and my apples actually look like apples! Yay!

Oh, and that might have to do with the fact that I wrote 5 pages in my little notebook of Supernatural fic *g* That must be about 900 or 1000 words (they're really small pages), and the first 200 kinda suck, but I'm actually happy with the rest of it. :))

Supernatural's about to start for you lucky bastards in the US, how cool. So new episode tomorrow for me, even more yayz!

Now, music for [livejournal.com profile] moonix:

The Killers - When You Were Young
The Killers - Bling (Confessions of a King)
The Killers - For Reasons Unknown
The Killers - Uncle Jonny

Let me know if you want me to upload the rest of the album for you, k?
nekare: (Ergo Proxy - Real)
And there is wank over the Doctor Who fandom. It's not as large as the Martha is a slut! fucktardness (which, honestly, made me a bit ashamed of being in this fandom, it was just so mean and stupid), but there it goes. God, Rose is gone GET IT OVER WITH. I love Rose, I love her dearly, but Doctor Who is Doctor Who and no companion will last forever. (And it's not like the Doctor didn't love every single one of them and shagged them silly, too.)

Finished Smallville's 2nd season, and it was lots better than the first one, much more character development, less freak of the week. And the first episodes of season 3 have rocked my socks, which is no surprise seeing how much I swoon for Red-Kryptonite!Clark (he'd be scary if he were to permanently stay like that...). Oh, and Tom Welling's hair grew a bit. He looks edible.

I've been incredibly tired all day long, I nearly fell asleep during today's lesson with my grandpa, and to top it all, my blood sugar lever went down today just before eating, and I was shaking all over, *sigh*. Went waxing and had a facial today. One word: Ouch.

Now, some music! I had said I'd upload The Room EP, and then I kinda forgot, sorry. Una preguntita, eso si, para la gente por aqui que tiene el CD en forma, con qué programa abres la animación? porque no se ve en ninguna de mis compus ;-;

Zoé - Dead
Zoé - She Comes
Zoé - Morning Watts
Muse - Black Holes And Revelations (Entire CD) [livejournal.com profile] spooy gave me this one, and then I uploaed it for [livejournal.com profile] bellle_fille and I haven't even had the time to hear it yet, I'm so lame.

Ergo Proxy's 15th episode has been subbed, and I can't use torrent to get it. *sigh*

We're trying a new step in Flamenco class, in which we bend backwards until we can see upside down and move our hands around prettily. MY GOD MY BACK ACHES. As in, ACHES. Guh, guh, guh.

Anonymacy has been dropped at [livejournal.com profile] hpslashnotsmut, yay! I'll post my fic in a little while, and omg, [livejournal.com profile] such_heights, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

Garbage - Use Me

OMG THIS TOOK SO LONG. Please download them, it seriusly took ages ;-;

Mmm, there's this German movie that I want to download, White Noise, partly beecause it's the same actor as Goodbye Lenin! (which I loved), and partly because it's about schizophrenia. But my drive is pretty much full. Mmm, questions, questions.

I just saw the new Evanescence video. I'm still not sure what I think about the song, although it's mostly positive. I really, really want Amy's wardrobe, though. Oh, and the random green-eyed guy was really hot. *is shallow*

While at my granda's today, I tried to start sketching a gift for someone in my flist, but I just can't seem to get it right. Gah, so frustrating. Hopefully It'll go better tomorrow. And of course, the minute I start sketching illustrations for my own stories in Spanish, things go better. Go figure. *sigh* Expect drawings soon. (and [livejournal.com profile] spooy, this would be one hell of a time to realease that tutorial of yours, 'cause I'm planing to use lights on dark background with watercolors ;-;)

It's been raining daily for almost two weeks already - I've worn a jacket more times in these last few days than in the last six months. Needless to say, I'm in rain-heaven. I'm fucking ecstatic, yo.

I was tagged by [livejournal.com profile] dzturtlepower: Reply to my post and I'll give you a letter. You then post 5 songs that start with that letter. I got "P", and got quite an eclectic playlist, mmm...

Madreblu - Primanotte (Italian Pop)
Vanessa Carlton - Private Radio (Pop)
Linkin Park - Papercut (need I say?)
Bajofondo Tango Club - Perfume (Argentinian Electrotango)
Client - Pornography (Electrofunk)
Placebo - Protect Me From What I Want
Placebo - Post Blue

I liked doing this, so, give me another letter, flist!

I downloaded the 'The Organ' CD, and it's oh so wonderful so far. I love getting new music, it puts me in a great mood. :)
Mood:: 'ecstatic' ecstatic

The bad thing about waking up so late is that it somehow feels as if you've wasted an entire morning. Bah. I want to try and draw a bit this afternoon, I've had this idea going round and round in my mind for a few weeks. And joy, I've found a bit of watercolor paper! I still have to go and buy some more, though.

About Ultimate X-Men, how much does 'Return of the King' rocks? A LOT. But really, one'd think they could stick to a single artirst, for God's sake. And again, while I love the style of Chris Bachalo (from Ultimate War), it still doesn't fit with X-Men - he draws women beatufifully, but his men end up looking ar too chartoony for this kind of comic. But yeah, much love. (And apparently, both him and Kaare Andrews dislike Jean's short hair as much as I do XD)

I'll be posting my sentences in a bit, but before that, some music! The first two are songs that I fell in love with while hearing a promo for The L Word's second season, two are from the Nana movie, one from the anime, and the other two just because *g*

The Organ - Brother
Ladytron - Playgirl
Fall Out Boy - Dance Dance
Hi-fi - Hard to Beat
(Nana) Mika Nakashima - Glamourous Sky
Nana (anime) opening - Rose
(Nana) Mika Nakashima - My Medicine

I posted Nine/TARDIS/Ten OTP fic yesterday, btw.

Página: Page, Noun. (the G is pronounced like the English H) I like this word because the G sounds very smooth and soft, which contrasts with the strong P. And it helps the fact that it has to do with books XD

I started writing a short story about a janitor falling to a water tank in a lab and finding this odd experiment swimming in it. It's second person, and... it's not working very well. *sigh* It'll be THREE stories for monday, besides some minifiction I still owe. *weeps* Also, I hadn't seen CSI in like, ages, and tonight that episode about that 12-year-old genious was on, and... it really gave me the creeps. SHE really gave me the creeps. *shudder*

Let there be: MusicSpam!!!

Babasónicos - Yegua
This is a really, really important band from Chile, and even when I'm not really a fan, this song has been inside my brain for AAAAALL morning long. I kept singing "Ooooh, OOOHHHH No acato líiiiimites!" XD
Babasónicos - Carismático
Oddly, a little part of 'Yegua' come in the end. Dunno why. *shrug*

Bebe - Siempre Me Quedará
Lovely song, mellow and sweet and with a wonderful video. This girl's from Spain.

Morbo - Hoy
This band was created by the old vocalist of Moenia, and this song is just awesome.

Plastilina Mosh - Millionaire
I HEART this song, and the video is pure LOVE, and it sounds very oddly like electronic-cumbia. XD Plastilina Mosh's video, 'Mr. P. Mosh', was the first video in Spanish to be aired EVER in the American MTV.

Morbo - Enseñamé

Fobia - Dos Corazones
A really famous Mexican band. I've not listened to much of them, if I gotta be honest, but they seem to be cool. I especially like this because the video is about MPREG OMG IT'S SO FUNNY. A rentboy sleeping with greasy old man, and then going to the doctor to check on his baby XDD

The Cardigans - Erase/Rewind
Erm, adding this one because it's one of my favorite songs of all times. Not precisely for the lyrics (albeit they're cool), but for the wonderul music.

Linkin Park - My December (Reanimation version)
Uploaded since I promised to [livejournal.com profile] dzturtlepower. The regular version is also part of my top ten. :)

Aurora y la Academia - Horas
This is TOTALLY my childhood. I've loved this song for some seven years now, and it was only a few months back that I got to download it.

Nek - Laura
Another oldie. There's just NO ONE in Mexico that hasn't heard this one XD I still like it loads, actually, and I'd like to hear the Italian version someday.

Café Tacuba - Puntos Cardinales
One of the most recognized bands of Mexico. I really wanted to upload 'Eres', their ode to love (with a video to die for), but the FUCKING BearShare is a HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE THING AND IT'S SLOW AS FUCK.

She Wants Revenge - These Things
She Wants Revenge - Tear You Apart
I wasn't going to upload this songs because I'm Le Tired and I've been uploading for hours, but let's get it over with already. XD I ADORE this songs. And they have such wonderful visuals. (WHY YES, I'M A VIDEO-WHORE.)

Just where has Megaupload got to? It's supposed to be downloading part two of Dalek damnit!! (I may, or may not have squeed when the last song FINALLY was uploaded. *sigh*)
