I kinda want to see some of Seven's serials, because I've heard Ace is Smashing and Very Explosive Indeed and that Seven is Somewhat Insane And Badly Dressed Although Not As Badly Dressed As That Bloke Before Him With The Blond Afro. So. Which serials should I watch, oh wise flist?

In return, I have fic recs, yayz. It's weird, but last year I couldn't imagine ever liking anything other than Doctor/Rose, but I hardly like it anymore (that's the fault of the batshit Rosefen, though, for daring to call my dear, dearest Martha a whore [I shall never forget that, no!] and for generally being horrible and ruining the pairing for me. I still like Rose, but I have to admit my love for Martha surpasses it), and now I'm All About the Doctor/Martha and Doctor/Master. IF YOU COULD REC ME SOME FIC, THAT'D BE AWESOME, TOO.

Doctor Who Season 4 by [livejournal.com profile] ariastar, Doctor/Master, R, AU. Everyone and their mothers has probably read this one already, but WHO CARES, IT'S SHINY. Seriously, it's really well written and the plot is wonderful, AND the Master is just as crazy and charistmatic as he should be. Martha and Jack have a lot of time in the spotlight, too, and oh, but my Martha kicks all kinds of ass and is happy and MADE OF WIN, YES. I won't lie, the season structure hurts it a bit because it really could've done with a couple more chapters (then again, that's probably just me and my hopes for it to never to end), but in the end it's just one of the best Who fics I've read.

Life on Earth by [livejournal.com profile] ariastar, Doctor Who/Life on Mars crossover, gen, spoilers for season 3 of DW and season 1 of LoM. Summary: Sam Tyler can hear the drumming. Oh, my heart, it aches. Wonderfully done, and it fits so. damn. well. Really worth the read.

Within Reach by [livejournal.com profile] beizy, Doctor/Master, NC-17. The one D/M I've read that actually acknowledges the fact of the Master being, well, kinda* dead. This one has a wonderful development, and it rings so very true for both characters.

The Pandora Project by [livejournal.com profile] calapine, Doctor/Master, PG-13, AU. I'm not done with this one yet, actually, but I already love it oh so much. Wonderful plot and interactions, the D/M is hot in its non-explicit way (yayz for non-explicit, btw), and Martha is LOVE. This one's made of awesome, really.

Palindromatic by [livejournal.com profile] anythingbutgrey, Doctor/Martha, PG-13. Wonderful, lyrical account of the time the Doctor and Martha spent stuck in 1969.

It's no place you can get to by yourself by [livejournal.com profile] _starrystarry, Doctor/Martha, PG-13. She lets herself ask questions about his past, because it could be her future. Another fic set in 1969, and again, it's just wonderful. Then again, Martha makes everything be awesome, so. *g*

ETA: I just read this and went a;sdjfsldkj: The Third of December by [livejournal.com profile] flaignhan, Doctor/Martha, PG-13. The Doctor visits Martha twice a year, every year. Fluffy without being too sugary, this is just wonderful, and the structure is so, so very good.

*Because it's the Master, how long can he stay dead?

Okay, so there's that and the fact that, surprisingly, I've really liked all the songs I've listened from Babyshambles new album, Shotter's Nation. Pete Doherty's life right now is kinda on ruins right now, but it seems that at least musically, he's managed to pull himself together, finally. My favorite song other than Delivery is There She Goes, which is jazzy and classy and I gotta say, at least Kate Moss was a good muse, because it's such a lovely song. (I do miss those good old days [hee] when all of Pete's songs were about Carl and all of Carl's songs were about Pete, though.)

I was listening to The Libs on my way back to school, though, and by God, but I'd forgotten how insanely happy Don't Look Back Into The Sun and the rest of their songs make me. ♥ Babyshambles might be getting better, but it's still nowhere near the Libs.

Ohmygosh I have links at home about how Pete D. wants to manage a soccer club (and a vid of him playing, it's so weird)! I'll also need to download that track at home (agh school computer controls).

Ooh, these look shiny! *bookmarks* You should be reading Jack/Martha too, though, because that's really awesome - see Whatever You Want It To Be by [livejournal.com profile] zhian_tara, or the gen but sort of shippy Correspondence by [livejournal.com profile] evil_hobittess. Doctor/Master-wise, I mostly just love [livejournal.com profile] shaggydogstail's stuff to a degree that's a little unholy. :D

I would also like to learn which Seven serials to watch, I hear Ace is most excellent.

Eeeeh, yayz! I'll try and read them in a bit. :) And oh man, I LOVE [livejournal.com profile] shaggydogstail's stuff, but I'm pretty sure everyone and their mothers have already read her cracky Doctor/Master - it's just that awesome XD

I've been told to start with The Curse of Fenric, mmm...

It's kinda sad that batshit shippers ruined a pairing for you. Boo. :/

But... 1969 Doctor/Martha fics? *perks up ears* That sounds ooh so very interesting. I shall have to check that out. Yay, thanks for the recs! :D

... okay, clearly I need a Martha icon. I can't believe I don't have one yet.

Yeah, in between that and how the series treated her like Her Saintness Rose the Martyr, well, I just lost my taste for it. T-T

Mmm, 1969, yeah, and they're wonderful!

I don't have one either. ;___; It pains me in my heart, honest.
