Friends and family that always tried to get me into them are laughing their asses off me at seeing my newfound level of obsession, I swear. BUT WHO CARES. I's been such a blast.

Musically: I love how they evolved so much - their early stuff is fun but somewhat hollow (ironically enough, my favorite song of that period is Please Mister Postman, which isn't even a Beatles song!). A Hard Day's Night is actually pretty good, and it's a great bridge between early stuff and their improved sound of the later years. Help! was very much meh, Rubber Soul I honestly can't stand (I only like about two songs off it, ugh). I really like both the White Album and Sgt. Pepper's... but I think my favorite albums of theirs are Revolver and Magical Mystery Tour, I can't quite decide between them.

Interview/anecdote/photo/video/fangirly stuff wise, I very much prefer seeing early stuff, mostly because they still seemed to, you know, like each other, and are overall fantastically cute and fascinating and funny. And dunno, it's just kind of heartbreaking to read about poor Ringo feeling like no one cared for him, and about John saying he pretty much hated every single song Paul had written and the such and how Paul tried so hard to keep them all together and everyone pretty much hated him for it. It all became so messy, in the end.

But yes, I very much love these boys, these grown men, and I can't really choose between them, although I'm awfully partial to Paul and Ringo, hee. And that's another thing I've never gotten: John Lennon was a genious, there's no denying that, but he wasn't saintness incarnated, for Christ's sake. Paul is overbearing and controling and manipulative, but John wasn't perfect either, and Paul sure as hell didn't/doesn't deserve all the dissing he gets. BUT OH WELL.

Ever since this little trend of mine started with the Libertines of getting obsessed with broken-up bands my source of happiness is that Travis is getting ready to record a new album! YAYZ. I'm so very excited, doubly so because it's mostly because Dougie's having his first baby in March, which makes me go AWWWWWW so fucking much, haha.

AND Dirty Pretty Things is kiiiinda ready to release their second album. YAY? I'd be more excited if I liked their first album better, in all honesty. BUT HEY. Babyshambles' new album was sort of fantastic and it was such a pleasant surprise, maybe it'll happen again now? (because in the same fashion, Down in Albion was made of suck, although Waterloo to Anywhere didn't quite reach that level of lameness.)

And now that I think about it, there hasn't been any worthwile news in the Libs fronts for a while, isn't it? Other than Carl's horrendous taste in pants (seriously what was he thinking? Those things made me yearn for the tight tight tight black trousers) and Pete's bad haircut and mention in VH1's 'best of 2007' because of the druggie kittens, there hasn't been much. I mean, no one's been sent to rehab (again), no one's playing in jails or being ditched by supermodels or doing anything interesting, boo. WE NEED A 'PETE AND CARL SHOP TOGETHER' SIGHTING. Just to get things interesting, lol.

Alot.... but not enough good stuff. I just found a story I had printed out once while cleaning. Threw it away. Some people, really, bad fanfiction is so cringeworthy. urgh.

ugh, totally. It's all so very bad - why is it that bandlash fandom for bands I actually like (instead of crapfests like MCR) doesn't have any good writers in it? Boo. ;___;

I've read ONE good Beatles fic (in yuletide - it's magnificent, promise). All of the rest? CRAP. ;___;

Are the Libertines going to be again one day?

Sadly, no. Or at least, not in any near future - maybe in 15 years when no one remembers them anymore and these attention whores get back together for the publicity, lol.

Yeah, the earlier media stuff is much better to watch of the group. I always felt awful about reading about the recording of Let It Be, when both George and Ringo quit and walked out. But yeah, Revolver is my favourite album of theirs. It really seemed like the transitional album for their styles of music. I mean, you still got something like "Here There and Everywhere" which fits with the earlier stuff, but then you also get "Tomorrow Never Knows", which I think is pretty amazing!

I know, it's just so sad and heart wrenching, which is an odd feeling when it all happened 40 years ago, but oh well. Exactly! It still has a bit of their old sound but with much better melody and lyrics. My favorites are probably I'm Only Sleeping, Eleanor Rigby and Got to Get You Into My Life - I can listen to them over and over again!

I only liked the first Babyshambles album, the second one I only listened to three times, it really bored me.

Oh and I thought of you while listening to the beatles today and how fantastic it is that you love them, not sure why. ^^ My favourite albums are actually For sale and Abbey Road. Mostly because I listened to those the most. And I got For Sale for my 10th birthday

Mmm, really? I liked it much better than the first one - that one was all over the place, and listening to Kate Moss' weird yelpings didn't please me all that much, lol.

Hehe, it's just nice to know that the love is around, I guess XD Aww, I can only imagine a wee little you dancing to No Reply, haha. :) It always amazes me at how an early age you developed your fantastic music taste - I was still listening to crap like Britney Spears and the Backstreet Boys when I was fifteen, haha XD

It was very raw yes, but I loved the melodies and the lyrics and felt it was very personal. the second one was just... er, I dont know. Like a Kinks rip off done nicely but it doesnt really interest me.

Haha, I never stopped listening to the backstreet boys entirely ^^ and when I wasnt listening to the beatles it was the Sugababes, so there you go...

There's needs to be more The Beatles fanfic. Seriously.

Hey we're opposites, I LOVE Rubber Soul but can't really get into Revolver, lol! I have to say Abbey Road and Sgt. Pepper's are my two favorite though, and Help! is up there with them.

Hhhmmm, I think I just got an idea for my next poll:P

Oh, there's a lot of it, but it all sucks, ugh.

Lol, really? That's so weird! I do like Abbey Road a lot, but it can get too rambly for me, haha.

I finally got to download Help! I'm so excited, apparently they ski in it? EEK. And ah, your icon, so lovely.
