So I mentioned I've been drawing a lot as of lately, right? AND THEN DIDN'T DELIVER? Yeah. So here it is! In a way I love this art kick, and in another I hate it because usually while in an art funk I can't write at all, and viceversa, and I miss writing. And then when I write I miss drawing. WATCH ME BEING ~COMPLICATED~.

"Mosaicos" acrylics on illustration board.
I've been working on this on and off since, uh, early august, and I only finished it about two weeks ago, lol. Basically I wanted something to frame and put on my wall, and I wanted something very me (aka COLORS, LOTS AND LOTS OF COLORS). I got pretty good with a brush thanks to it, and you can totally see which squares I did first, haha.

"No" acrylics on illustration board.
Again, because I like shiny shiny colors. :3 And weird shit.

Watercolors on guarro paper.
This was an assignment for school, and the only decent thing I did in watercolor class, lol. Not weird, considering I hate painting motherfucking trees, and that was all the teacher wanted us to do, ugh. Anyway, I sort of just discovered my love for architectural drawing? Albeit with bad perspective?

Watercolors on guarro paper.
I REALLY REALLY WANT A PAIR OF GREEN RAYBANS. IS IT TOO OBVIOUS? THAT'S WHAT I THOUGHT.

"Wise" watercolors and chinese ink on guarro paper.
Done for Illustration Friday's theme two weeks ago, wise. For some reason I couldn't stop thinking of Merlin, and not even the cracky, slashtastic BBC version, but rather the adorably creepy hawaiian-print wearer old dude from the Disney version, lol.

"Portrait of a Sulk" chinese ink on opalina paper.
I hateeeee inking with pens or markers, so I decided to give brushes and ink a chance - and I loved it! After all these months painting I'm almost as precise with a brush than with a pencil, and you get looser, freer lines, which is a plus.
I tend to post art first to my artsy fartsy and movie reviews blog, which I decided to rescue from oblivion a while ago, lol.
