I went ice-skating today! It was awessssome. I absolutely love ice-skating, but I hardly ever get to do it, which is sad. It started snowing a bit while we were in the rink, which was a bit surreal, and it's pretty much the only place in Leeds that still has small mountains of snow surrounding it, which is probably in purpose - it works a hell of a lot as advertising, haha.
I have just seen the trailer for the new Torchwood episodes, and I have to say it looks promising. Creepy kids are creepy! And gratuitous boykissing! It sound remarkably like a Who plot - Torchwood plots tend to be more... loltastic, say. Am not as excited with the thought of not actually watching it on tv - yeah, yeah, iplayer and everything, but. Still. Aaaah, I miss TV. Like, even back home I didn't watch that much tv, but it's a good thing to do in the afternoons when you have nothing to do and want your brain to shut down for a while (the perfect remedy is watching The Girls Next Door or something like it. It's incredibly trashy, yes, but incredibly entertaining as well, lol.)
One of my flatmates reminds me so much of Eve Myles. Which is weird, as she is Finnish. Huh.
Gossip Girl this week was incredibly boring Y/Y? Go back to being deliciously evil and sexy and Chuck/Blair-filled, show, PLZ PLZ. Pretty much, the shows I'm enjoying the most right now is HIMYM (Barneeeeey) and Fringe - I never hear any squee for Fringe in LJ but it's SO GOOD. Like, 1st season of Alias good. I've heard so many comments on how Lost is shiny again and I SORT of want to go back to it, but... S3 confused the hell out of me, yo. Before I stopped watching, that is. I haven't seen a single episode of Heroes for like five or six months. I don't even miss it, which is sad. I do mis S1, though. I'll force my mom to watch my DVDs with me during the summer.

dude, Torchwood is srsly ratcheting up the SRS SHOW factor, it looks like!
lastly, BARNEYYYY. ♥ he is too awesome for words.

Even considering last season (and it's teary finale of tears tears tears), it's hard to think of Torchwood as anything other than LOL, CRAPPY ALIEN HUNTERS.
If you look awesome up in the dictionary, it totally says Barney. IT DOES, OKAY.

I thought Gossip Girl was insane this week. I laughed a lot more than I should have. Then again, I recently watched a comedy where an episode had the most pathetic orgy party ever, complete with potluck buffet, so I kept on thinking "where's the buffet?" during Chuck's scenes.
I will explain Lost to you if you want. hahaha
that guy with the skeletal bone structure in Fringe plays a minor role in S4 Lost
Heroes s1 is so rewatchable, while the first half season of s3 starts great and then descends into failfailfail before actually regaining some goodness at the end. It's very hard for me to lose faith in a show, but yeah. The lastest episode was okay, nothing fantastic besides a few moments.
I don't watch Fringe (although the Bishop characters seem interesting, I'm just not much for science procedurals, even crazy ones) but I know a few LJers into it. There is also

I've been saying I'll catch up with Heroes since October, and I just keep putting it off, haha.
Ohh, the Bishops are made of shiny - FINALLY the mad scientist is actually completely insane, yay! And, well, I do love conspiracy theories, that might be why I'm liking it so much.

Gossip Girl, ha. Everything but Nate/Vanessa and Rufus/Lily are laaame right now. And that's coming from a Serena fan. And I'm a Dan fan too, actually, he gets too much hate. And I love Serena/Dan. BUT EVERYTHING APART FROM NATE/VANESSA AND RUFUS/LILY CAN GDIAF RIGHT NOW.
(Also! Fringe. I watch the first 5 episodes and then... stopped. Even though I really, really liked it a lot. I think I'm going to start from the beginning again because Band Of Brothers has re-invigorated my old Kirk Acevedo-shaped love from Oz. And Joshua Jackson is forever my tv boyfriend, ha.)

I sort of lol'd at the end when Dan slept with the teacher (that totally looks 16, haha, Serena looks older than her), but mostly I've been finding that storyline quite boring. Ah, bah. Nate/Vanessa I like in a sort of abstract way - I think they're cute, but that's about it, whereas I LOVE Lily/Rufus and squeed like a mad thing when they finally slept together. :DDD
Finish eeeeeet. It's so so good, but then again I do love me a good conspiracy story, so...
