I am such a loser. Yesterday, I went to a weird country house of cousin of my cousin, and they have this small-ish motorbikes with four wheels (noooo idea what they're called in English). I'd never ridden one of them in anything other than flat ground, and so Michelle and Abril kept laughing about me as I nearly fell all the time, and then, when I thought I was getting the hang of it, I crashed into a lamp post. Bike head on, against a large, white, 20 meter high lamp post. I got thrown out of the bike, did some kind of piruette in the air, and ended in my ass next to the bike with my favorite jeans covered in dust. I was laughing out of shock as the cousins helped me get the bike (which is my godson's and hopefully is still working right), away from the lamp post. I'm mostly all right, but I've got this HUGE bruise in my right thigh, and both my wrists and arms ache from the way I got tored away from them as I did the flip. After that, I went and sat and read. Much more safer.
Now, reviews!
Doctor Who: The Empty Child 1x09. I know, I know, so late, but I'd missed this when I watched the first season, so whatever. OMG THE SQUEE! Oh, Nine was so utterly lovely in this, all Doctor-ish and inquisitive, and loved the 'But this can't ring, it's not a real telephone, how does it ring??' the same as his frustrated expression when he realizes he has to find a bomb-like object in the middle of air-raids covered London. Maybe if I had seen this first, I would've warmed up to Captain Jack much more warmly, because he was awesome in here, the dashing hereo that turns out to be a fake; and of course, iclke little Jamie is scary. The photography in this episode was just marvelous, quite better than most of the other episodes (the same as in Tooth and Claw), and the club scene was just oh so lovely. Also, I'd missed Nine's voice. Oh yes.
Doctor Who: School Reunion 2x03. While the atmosphere in Tooth and Claw was better, this one is just ALL about the interactions. Teacher!Doctor was oh so sexy, andGiles Anthony Head was GREAT as a villian! (he is frightening, oh yes he is.) I've never watched any Classical Who (although I intend to change that), so the euphoria of having Sarah Jane Smith never really got to me, but she totally won me over. She's... Quite alike to Rose, in some ways, so I guess that's why they chose to bring back that especific Companion. Ten's reaction to SJS was of such pure awe and amazement that you can FEEL he truly cared about her. And the ending!! "Goodbye, MY Sarah Jane Smith!" with the hug oooooh, just so beautiful. The scene outside the cafe, with Rose wondering just how many of forgotten Companions there's been is just heartbreaking, and the Doctor's "No. Not you," and his almost slip with the L word were just OMG so squee worthy. K-9 was sweet, I'll give you that, but I'm not that crazy about it. Mickey was cool! And it'll be fun to have him in the TARDIS, if just to see Rose act all pissy about it. The catfight!! OOOOH, the amazement. And them laughing over the Doctor loving TARDIS way too much!! So the plot was kind of silly, but it was such a great episode. I'm even loving Ten a bit more now, and I didn't think that was possible. :)
Casanova: 1x01. The reason I stayed up until 3 am!! I truly love Russel T. Davis. Everything he does is, like, gold. XD Casanova is fast paced, quirky, witty and fun. David Tennant is wonderful in it, but then again, I already expected that *g* The music, the clothes, the settings, everything's spotless and oh so amazing. Gay jokes abound, yes, but everything's so sexy in here that you don't even need the slash; and OOOOOH, now I can TOTALLY understand why pretty much every woman in England fancies David Tennant right now (in an interview with Billie Piper some time ago, she admited that her own mum would call her all the time to ask whether she was sitting next to him XDD). I can bet my ass it's TONS better than Heath Ledger's Hollywood version, nyah.
I've always been happy when Rose picks up her cell phone, since I've got the same model (only mine has an HP cover I did myself...), and I think one knows you're in too deep when you change 'Casa' to TARDIS calling. AND put a phone photo of the ship as the opening photo. *shifty eyes*
I just realized, uh, the day before yesterday, that I was in queue this month for the Sasu/Naru fic in
nsn_roundrobin, and now I have only until the 11th to have it done ;-; That and an angsty Remus/Regulus Remus/Sirius thing *headdesk* Also, I got my assignment for
hpslashnotsmut, and I guess I should be nervous since I got someone quite well known, and something different to what I usually write, but she asked for something fun and sexy, so I guess that'll be nice to do. :)

Haha, I don't know her personally, but to that part of fandom, or, well, pairing, she's a GOD. Hehe.
It's got to be ready before the 14th, so I don't think you'll have to wait too much. :)

The Empty Child really is a great episode, isn't it? I love the moment when Nine's yelling 'everybody lives!' - it's so euphoric and a bit tragic at the same time.
In the UK, we call those bikes quadbikes - my main experiences with them were riding them around country fairs as a kid. Good times.

I know! I could just cling to him in that moment :) I remember trying to watch The Doctor Dances without having seen this one first, and having this large WTF? face on XD
Quadbike is suuuuch a cool name, hehe. If I only I had done that instead of having a regular, plain old bike I wouldn't have made such an ass of myself...

I feel you. *hugs*
