OMG OMG OMG, OMG!!!!

SASUKE, FINALLY, OMG!!!

*takes a deep breath* after 50 FUCKING CHAPTERS, Sasuke's face is finally seeable!! I swear my heart was beating just a little too fast a few pages before, and he's even showing off half-undressed and NYAH, so exciting. XD Everyone had figured out by now that he'd be wearing a bow, but I'm slightly disspointed of him not dressing entirely in black. 'Cause that was sexy, yo. Also, my slasher eyes are more than functioning, and they soooo want each other. Totally. Especially after that "They look up with passion, he looks down with serenity" (Kashimoto's words, not mine XD) of course, I dunno what got lost in translation. Ooooh, I wo want to get the high quality version and bask in the feeling of finally having Sasuke back. *happy sigh*

I've just caught up on the manga, since I was like, so behind it wasn't even funny. (chap 292, I think...) I'm digging how Sakura has FINALLY been brought up to both Naruto and Sasuke's level. I started as a Sasu/Saku and then Kaka/Saku shipper (I know, I know... HET! XD) before I moved on to the goodness of Naru/Sasu, so I've always liked how grown up she can be in the moments it counts, and I've NEVER really understood what's up with all the bashing; but at the end of the last arc, Kishimoto did forget about her a bit, and now she's SUPER COOL AND SUPER POWERFUL AND YAYZ! because she deserves it. And because they can now be the new Sannin and be great as a disfunctional team ^g^

Now all I have to do is finally get caught up with the latest Bleach *g*

Now, onto other matters: I'm writing Remus/Regulus, Remus/Sirius, but I've a grammar question: 'seeing from the corner of the eyes' is the right way to say it, right? Because we say 'del rabillo del ojo' which would mean the same thing, but I'm still not sure if I'm just inventing my own grammar rules... Which wouldn't be odd with me. XD Anyway, if it IS right, how do you use it? with 'through', 'in', 'on' or WHAT?

Also, [livejournal.com profile] moonix? digging the Tomte XD

Mmm. I think I need more context to be able to answer that grammar question. Can you give me a whole sentence? Heh.

he can see Sirius bite his lip from the corner of his eyes

Is that all right?

Hmmm. I would say "from out the corner of his eye". I am pretty sure that eye is singular because you can't see out both eye corners. I am not sure why I think "out" should be in there but that's the only way that sounds right when I say it out loud.

Obviously, I am not an English teacher becase I can't explain why I think that is correct. Heh. Maybe you should wait for another opinion! *L*

I think, you would say 'seeing from the corner of his eyes' rather than 'the eyes.' But personally I would use 'looking' rather than 'seeing' but that could just be me. Or 'saw from...

Or 'from the corner of my eyes, I can see the power point, and my dresser, which are boring and uninteresting.'

I think you have it right, anyway. This was probably a really unhelpful comment. Hmmm, sorry.

No, actually it was quite useful. :) Thanks

I think I got it right now. Let's hope, though...

Actually, given the sentence that you posted for [livejournal.com profile] amberlynne, I would use "from his periphery" in that context.

Because it kind of sounds like Sirius is biting his lip with the corner of his eyes (because the "his" becomes vague when you are speaking about a male subject and a male object). "Periphery," however, does not refer to the physical corner of someone's eye, but the actual vision received out of the corner of your eye. It's called "peripheral vision," and what you see is the "periphery."

Hope that helps :) And if I'm just blabbing on stuff you already know about and have already considered, forgive me!

Okay, off to watch a movie with Leah now (WTF?! never thought I'd say that... *sigh*) So I'll ttyl, darling! Good luck with the fic! AND I WANT TO READ IT WHEN YOU'RE DONE!

"From the corner of his eyes" is grammatically correct, but sounds a little awkward to English ears, atleast to mine. I'd say "Out of the corner of his eyes," but I think that's more of a preference thing.

a) Cool music. Norden der Welt is very good.
b) There's nothing wrong with het.
c) Err, is Naruto licensed? I miss my scanlations, and the German market is well.. behind...

a)Oh, I really want to get more of them!
c)Bah, license manga is for the weak. *is still angry that it hasn't been licensed in Mexico yet*. Go to narutofan (http://www.narutofan.com/). It's up to the last chapter in there. :)
