Happy 4th of July, USians! Hope it was nice. :)

I went to my cousin's bellydancing presentation, it was cute and funny. I miss flamenco SO MUCH. Sigh. Ah well.

And then another cousin proclaimed her love for Merlin! YAYZ, MERLIN CONVERT. She thinks Arthur is hot, lol. Well, duh, kid. I tried to egg on about the obvious and epic gayness this show is made of, like 'AND THAT DRAGON, EH? WITH HIS TWO PART OF THE COIN THING???' and stuff like 'IT'S SURE TOUGH LOVE WITH THEM, EH???' when she talked about how omg Arthur can be so mean to Merlin, but she just had this blank expression on her face for a little bit and then switched to talking about how adorable it all is and how she cried when Will died and she'd just seen the Unicorn episode and how awesome it all was.

Which is all very well, but what about the epic Merlin/Arthur never ending love affair? WHERE IS THAT. Or the hot sneaky sex Gwen and Morgana have all over the castle? HAVE YOU BEEN WATCHING A DIFFERENT SHOW, LITTLE COUSIN?

Youth today. No respect.

I let it slip that 'the fanfic's great!' as I know she's read horrible Potter stuff before. I sort of wish I could tell her about lj, but I really have the feeling she wouldn't be down with a lot of the stuff I have in this journal, lol. And it's probably for the best that she doesn't blab about me writing underage incest fic to the extended family? Yikes.

So, Merlin's about to start airing here. There are billboards everywhere, which is nice, and it was on the 'must-see' part of the newspaper... in the kids section.

It's even airing in the Disney Channel! Well, in the other Disney Channel, called Disney XD, FOR REALS.

Him: It's wild weird, isn't it? because he's all young, with young people problems? I bet they'll give him a girlfriend and everything.
Me: (silently loling) well it hasn't happened yet.
Him: give it two or three more episodes.
Me: Well, they already tried making Guinevere have a crush on him.

Angel and Katie interview for Merlin S2, nothing really spoilery. OH, HOW I LOVE THESE PEOPLE. I think that's part of the show's success, that the leads are all so very charismatic, and that it's easy to see the joy they have for the series, how much they enjoy doing it, it just translates really well to what we see onscreen.

I'D MISSED THIS FANDOM SO MUCH, OMG. ♥

Okay, fall tv has started! Gossip Girl and Bones were both, er, a bit bland? I mean, not BAD, not at all, but just a bit too normal instead of start of the season episodes. Fringe was good, even if the new character is so very pasted on yay, to be honest. Oh well. YOU BETTER BE AWESOME, MERLIN, DON'T LET ME DOWN.

I've had a headache for the past, oh, six days - like, constant pain, not too bad but enough to make me disoriented and moody - and it's driving me insane. Painkillers are not doing anything anymore. ARGH.

Haha, I love how it took like, TWO SECONDS for the new Merlin promo to be posted EVERYWHERE just after it surfaced in the interwebz, lol. In any case, YAY GUYS, NEW MERLIN!! :DD SOON-ISH, EVEN! WEEEEE.

In other news, I didn't know Spring Awakening in London had closed! SADFACE. I loved loved loved the show and I was quite hoping I'd get a chance to see it again, and even if I had plans to go the US anytime soon (which, not really, lol, poor penniless me), it wouldn't be the same without the pretty accents! BOO.

Been watching True Blood, as I was done with my homework early and the boy had to go to bed early as well. Up to ep 1x09 now - this can be at turns such a trashy show, and at other quite good. IT'S WEIRD.

AND OH YEAH, SOMETHING ELSE. The boy booked tickets to come see me in January!! YAAAAAAAAY. I'm so so so excited, I can't wait to go and CLING to him, lol, I've already warned him I'll go all koala on him. XD
