I finally watched the Veronica Mars movie! ♥
Sure, it had its flaws, and of course it would've worked better as a miniseries, but I seriously spent the entire thing being utterly charmed, wringing my hands and making dying whale 'eeeeeeeeeehhhh' sounds of excitement, so I honestly do not care. Oh, Veronica, I'd missed you.

I hadn't heard about the canon books, and whrn I saw the first one is out tomorrow i clicked buy so fast it was dizzying. Yay, more Mars Investigations!

Fuck slogans. Slogans are evil. And so freaking hard to come up with. *headdesk*

Also, fuck design teachers. Everyone taking Design V was roped into entering this weird publicitary poster contest in Barcelona - it's a repentina, which means it's a surprise and humongously big assigment. ON A LONG WEEKEND. ON INDEPENDENCE DAY LONG WEEKEND. THAT'S. THAT'S JUST EVIL, WHAT THE HELL.

(And, of course, I only found out today. Nothing will open on the 16th, which means I have to print this stupid thing TOMORROW. And buy the support and everything. ARGH.)

In happier news, I went to see Mamma Mia! today, in what was my first foray into the outside world in three days, lol, and it was so so much fun! It started badly, but by the end of it I was grinning so bad. Also, damn, but everyone looked so good! Meryl Streep doesn't look her age, Pierce Brosnan looked hot (mmm, so much) and I kept sighing everytime Colin Firth was onscreen. Yes, I dig Colin Firth. WHENEVER DID THAT HAPPEN. (Okay, so I perfectly know when it happened, and no, it wasn't Pride and Prejudice, it was Bridet Jones' Diary. I DON'T KNOW OKAY.) Is there any single semi-straight girl that DOESN'T dig Colin Firth by now, anyway?

And Amanda Seyfried was great and looked really pretty and made me miss Lilly+Veronica SO SO MUCH. AAAAH I MISS THAT SHOW.

Well, I finally saw the Veronica Mars' finale. I know, I know, I'm awfully late, but you know me, I'm all for procrastination.

Aw, man, now I SO want to go back and rewatch the first season. So much. I asked an aunt to get it for me when she was in the US a couple of weeks ago, but she couldn't find it anywhere, woe, and it's so incredibly expensive in here. *sigh*

In other news, I found out today that Stardust won't come out here until September 21. Damn. And I was sooo looking forward for that movie, I'm seriously all hyped up for it. ;___; (I did, though, get to make my mom interested about it, so score, I guess.)

Wank makes me anxious. Especially this kind of wank, the one that isn't funny (like, you know, the whole 'Jensen is a hobo-killer mandroid pregnant with Jared's love child!' think kinda was), and it's kinda hurtful to people and makes fandom a scary, angry place.

When we should clearly be thinking happy thoughts and writing porn. Or something. *sigh*

In other news, OMG I FORGOT TO TALK ABOUT THIS WEEK'S HEROES. Mainly because I was too busy fucking CRYING to try and form words on Tuesday night. One of my favorite episodes from the season, definitely, it was so beautiful and messed up and well done and it had me gasping at times. Wonderful, that episode.

Also, I'm up to ep. 11 of Veronica Mars, and while this season's definitely not as good as the first one, it is still full of shiny and me loves it very much. *sigh* Duncan. Logan! *sighs some more*

ETA: Oh yeah, and I finally decided to say 'LJ? What's that?' just like julia_linnea suggested if my friend talks about his LJ again. Part of what I love so much about having an LJ is being able to talk right and left about WHATEVER I want, and not caring about people might think, and having him around would... not ruin it, but kinda dampen the mood. *shrug* I would so like to see him boggle if he'd ever compair my flist to his, though *cackles evilly*

I refuse to watch the new Black Donnellys pilot (Hoooow Arcade Fire? How could you have done that to us? ;____;), so no Donnelly day for me until next week. Still! PEOPLE YOU MUST WATCH THIS. MUST. It is so wonderful and great and the brothers are a;sdjfalskjdf worthy. *nod*

Haven't done that much today but watching Veronica Mars and writing my hellish fic. Oh, and downloading Veronica Mars. And talking about Veronica Mars to whoever that stands still for enough time. Clearly, I'm obsessed. *headdesk*

My Albhabet fic is finally looking not so... blah as it did before. Seriously though, I've had so much trouble with this one - there's a reason I added the wincest, and it was just to spice it up so I wouldn't bore myself to tears while writing it. *shrug* I'd never considered how hard it is to get ten K related vignettes out of one's ass. *g* And have them make sense. o_O It's about 2000 words now, though, and I still have three vignettes to finish and two I haven't done at all. *criez*

I finished Veronica Mars' first season yesterday (today?) at about 3AM. ;ASDLFKASLDKFJALSKD.

I'm soooo glad I decided to randomly check my RL e-mail account (which I never open because all I get is a bazillion 'friendship tests' from my RL friends and my conspiracy theories from my dad), because I won't have Design class today and I would've gone and driven for an hour and a half for nothing. Wee!

I'm pretty good at the 'cantinflear' thing (a Mexican term from when you're saying lots, and yet saying nothing at all), but my weird Shape Theory teacher specifically told us not to do it on our assignments, but... He freaking told us we can't take notes of his classes (see where the weird part comes in? And that's not anything at all), and last week's class was STRANGE (he ended up talking about why coke [as in soda, people] tastes better while in a glass container, and how ANY connaisseur knows this. *scratches head*), so how am I supposed to take a short essay out of my ass about it?

In other news, my Preprint class is officially a joke. My teacher's this 27-year-old girl that still thinks drawing hearts and flowers around a text is proper design. *HEADDESK* My Design teacher gives this subject also, and he keeps going on about 'but... have you really not studied this in Preprint yet?' and we all go 'NO.' And my Esthetics class is SOOOO boring. Out of three classes? I've fallen asleep on two. *shakes head* I only have one practical class this semester, the rest of them are theoretical (well, I guess Design will start being practical in a few weeks, hopefully), so it'll be kinda tiring.

I really should be studying kanji right now but... I'm up to ep. 12 in Veronica Mars. and a;sdlfjalsdjfasdf but it's so damn good. I was telling mom about the main plot during lunch, and man, but stripped out of the funny and telling only the Lily Kane mystery thing? Veronica's life's downright depressing, yo. I'll probably do one of my 'OMG I LOVE IT SO MUCH' posts about it in a while XD What does this mean? That my life's right now's been consumed by this show. That I'm watching an average of 4 episodes a day and I haven't been writing, reading, doing homework, or studying Japanese, for days. *shifty eyes*

In other, better news, I watched The Black Donnellys' pilot with my dad yesterday, and he liked it lots, yay! Not surprising considering he likes mobster stories even more than I do (he's seen pretty much every Sopranos episode ever made, twice.) Poor thing's not used to be without subtitles, but seeing that he has video conferences or whatever with Americans pretty much everyday, he did pretty fine. Hee, I'm so excited about it! I do hope it'll be uploaded to The TV Community We're Not Supposed To Talk About...

Also, I watched eps. 2 and three of Veronica Mars yesterday, and apart from the coolness (which is big, I must admit), I kinda went OMG WHAT THE FUCK IS PARIS HILTON DOING IN MY SHOW GET HER OOOOOOUT, PLEASE. I'd known, intelectually, that she's a sucky actress, but seeing her for real... *shudder*

Hee, my Japanese test went okay. I know I totally forgot to put a 'ni' in between 'miru' (see) and 'iku' (go), but oh well. Anyway, went out for lunch with the entire Japanese class crew, and found out Moni's a SPN and Heroes fan as well! Yay! And we laughed because the sushi names were just random syllables put together! XD It was quite nice, even when the stupid waitress forgot to write what I ordered and I got my food after EVERYONE else had already finished.

I did, though, ditch my high school friends because I've just gotten my period and I ache all over. Too bad, because we were going to go to this all-you-can-eat buffet, since it's 2x1 after 7PM. Boo.

I watched Veronica Mars' pilot today. I'd seen bits and pieces all over the place (it is aired in here, only in this God forsaken channel at this God forsaken schedule), but it was sooo different to see it since the beginning! I liked it quite a lot. I liked Veronica quite a lot too - she'll ballsy and kind of bitchy and she really does have a valid reason for it. So yay, me likes! And I'll be watching the rest of it, as soon as I can start downloading. :)

Also, I've been thinking of starting to download Life In Mars. Mainly because of all of the squee my flist seems to be doing about it (what's it really about, anyway? I've heard something about time travel? Am I crazy? *scratches head*), but also because, well, the new Doctor Who spoilers. *cough*

In other news, I saw Cry Wolf yesterday (stfu it was on tv), and it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was. Also, Jared Padalecki looks really, really hot in school ties. *shifty eyes*. Anyway, it was really pretentious and the characters were really lame, but the plot was actually a pretty cool idea. *shrug* Have I mentioned Jared Padalecki stars in it? And he wears dorky ties? And a knitted vest? And that he he TOWERS over everyone in the movie? Because he does.
