I saw Children of Men today with my mom. It was awesome and painful and I think I like it even more that I liked Babel (i.e. a lot). So, it's 2027, there hasn't been a single birth in the past 18 years, and the movie shows it - the lack of hope, the desperation. The atmosphere (thanks to a beautiful photography) is just chill-worty. The plot moves just right and the characters are solid and well acted. I cried near the end. I got out with this feeling of despair in my chest (I kinda wanted to go and hug random kids), because it's so plausible, you know? It's easy to think of it as our future. I liked the ending, but I would love to have seen more of the characters, because, as I said, they're really well written. Also, Juliane Moore's hair is pretty much the only spot of color in the movie XD And Clive Owen was awesome. You know, the usual *g* All hail Alfonso Cuarón!

Sasuke, hands down. He would bitch and moan and try to slip poison into his student's beverages to 'keep them sharp'. And throw kunais at them when they get an answer wrong *g* Harry could teach pretty much anything bud Divination and still end up as the most loved teacher ever. Sasuke would probably teach something horrible like math or physics just for the joy of being able to torture his students. Sasuke would so assist Snape - neither would talk at all and they'd get along just fine. Harry would assist Remus, if he was still teaching.

(And then, of course, Itachi would storm into one of Sasuke's classes, because he's really being posing as a teacher in a mission from Orochimaru to discover which one of his kids is another demon bearer, and of course Itachi would ignore him, because 'Still weak, little brother, I see.' and Sasuke would be IRATE and start throwing fire ninjutsus at him and Harry would walk over from the next classroom and 'COULD YOU KEEP QUIET ALREADY, DAMNIT!' and then he'd make Itachi swear revenge when he mocks him and 'whoa, purple nails are so for pansies'. And the school would explode. End of story.)

Sasuke insulted Nathan Petrelli during a mission after NYC had been wiped out (he was meant to assasinate this mighty mafia boss, Linderman, or something, and out of the blue, this guy had come and flown him away. It had hurt his ego something fierce.), and one night, while he was drowning his sorrows in a seedy bar with the crappiest sake he had ever had (and kinda, maybe, possibly missing Naruto's ass), He had rambled on to this skinny bit of a thing, Peter, and how was he supposed to know that the guy had as many big brother issues as his own? Even now, when they're supposed to be working together to avoid a second apocalypse, Peter still won't talk to him unless it's buisness related.

The irony of the matter is that Sasuke and Nathan have actually became great pals. Nathan talks, Sasuke broods, and everyone's happy. You know. Kinda.

2)The Doctor should try and keep on licking things. Dean starts sweating as soon as that odd, time-lordy thing goes out of his mouth, wants it or not, and after a year of traveling with the Doctor (Sam in tow, reading every alien book known to existance in a large room in the middle of the TARDIS), Dean just can't wait for the Doctor to lick him. Life doesn't get better than being in some odd planet with purple grass, hunting aliens and alien ghosts with a pinstriped man talking and talking and talking into his ear.

Asked by everybodysweird: 1)what is the meanest thing Remus Lupin has ever done to anyone? 2)out of all of them, who's the most likely to be a pretentious music snob? 3)if Dream and Sasuke Uchiha were into S&M, who would be the dom?

1)Oh, but Remus is such a good soul! He thinks the worst thing he's ever done was not trusting Sirius right before the Potter's death, because he's convinced himself that if he had only looked beyond his petty fears of losing Sirius, he could have seen who the real traitor was.

2)EASY. Dean Whinchester, hands down. So classic rock has been out of fashion for a few decades already, who gives a shit?

3)Oooh, tough one. Sasuke would try and be the dom, (him being so kickass, and stuff), but, in the end, Dream doesn't really like to be underestimated by humans (bad experience, that), so he would just raise his eyebrow and Sasuke would have to understand that no one messes with Dream.

Unless you're his big sister, anyway.
