Good parts of the day:
1. Woke up feeling better, and therefore, wanting to do something. So I spent all morning finishing my Special gifts, and I'm quite pleased with all of them, actually (if you, uh, don't look at the hideous hands. But oh well...). Now let's just hope my giftees like them. :) I even was all happy with my watercolors, and tried and do stencil with them XD it was fun, and I'd really like to experiment more with that.
2. I finally saw my Night Watch DVD, and oh boy, that movie is such a visual orgasm. The effects are just mouth-watering, even if sometimes it does get a bit confusing (but apparently that gets sorted in the second movie, so all's well), and Anton, the main character is so damn confusing and depressing that you can't help but like him. *happy sigh*
3. Finished re-reading The Time Traveler's Wife, and I cried. Again. I love that book like whoa, the prose is just so thought-alike, the short sentences with the present tense; and then the time traveling part is allways amazing, and damn it but it's hard to make me cry, and this is so beautiful that it manages to pull it off wonderfully.
Bad Parts of the day:
( cut so you can be emo-less )
I'm totally using this icon to cheer myself up. :)
Okay, so this is getting long so: I'm going to Mexico City tomorrow!!! So don't be surprised if I don't comment, or anything. And well, if you could comment in here with the things I totally MUST see and that I missed, well, that'd be great. :)) See you all!
