School has been awfully hard as of lately. CAN IT BE SUMMER TIEM NAO PLZ? ;___;

I really like the way my poem book turned out (I'll try and take a picture once the teacher gives it back), but AH it's been so much work. ;___; I'm so glad I'm turning it in tomorrow, so I can just lie around and do NOTHING all afternoon long. BLISS. I didn't even get to write today, I was so busy. *sigh*

Anyway, since I realize it's not fair to ask and not to give anything in return, these are the best Bones fics I've read, no doubt. I guess it says a lot that both authors are not really in fandom, and yet have much better characterizations than those annoying ones that post twice every week. C'est la Vie, I guess.

Tacit by daygloparker, Bones, Booth/Brennan, R. This is. God. So incredible. It's somewhat new and I've already read it so many times - it captures both Booth and Brennan perfectly, and in such a lyrical, outlandish prose. Just gorgeous. Spoilers for Santa in the Slush

It WAS Santa in the Slush! And it was GLORIOUS to see it on actual tv! Can you even choke on happiness? Because I swear I squee'd so hard. :D :D

I bought my ticket for the coca-cola Zero Fest today, YAY! I'd been hesitant about going for a while, because while I'm always up for seeing Zoé in concert, their audience in festivals is never the best. BUT then I found out that that METRIC IS COMING, OMG! I've loved Metric for years, so I'm incredibly excited about seeing them live. :3 I also want to see The Mars Volta, Kinky and Miranda! as well, AND there was a promotion today and it was really really cheap in comparison to the actual prize, so overall it's win/win. WEE.

The only downside is that apparently I'm going only with my ex, but OH WELL. It'll still be awesome!

While I was buying the tickets I wandered into the dvd section of the record store, and was SO SO TEMPTED to watch Bones' 2nd season. I think I will buy it in the end, sooner than later, but I didn't have the money at hand at the moment. BUT. NEXT WEEK? YESSSS. IT SHALL BE MINE. MY PRECIOUSSS.

I feel real bad that I didn't get to write you or wanderlight a birthday drabble, but I've been so busy as of lately that I just didn't have the time. ;____; I had it all planned out, even - it was going to be SPN apocafic (yay) in which Sam and Dean are stuck together in the same like, abandoned 50s bunker for weeks to avoid radiation and end up nearly killing each other because dude, but weeks of seeing nothing but the other one, but they're aaaall alone in the world now, so they don't. AWWW. Now THAT is love. ANYWAY I OWE YOU GUYS. SORRY.

Bones is on tv today at 10, and if my ~calculations~ are correct, it's Santa in the Slush tonight. Which, you know, means that I HAVE to watch it. Because. DUDE. BUT THAT EP. (of course, I might be wrong and it might be a re-run because anyway they've run out of episodes to show, since they have to subtitle them, or whatever.)

ANYWAY I'M TIRED. AAARGH.

I do hope you don't expect coherent thoughts from me on this show. I usually get stuck in between OMG SQUEE and OMG SHINY. XD And oh, but it's sooo nice to have at least one of my shows back from the strike. I shouldn't talk, though, because the actor's strike is looming and ARGH PLEASE NO.

And the mini Buffy marathon continues, hee! I watched Innocence today, and I'd forgotten several things about it:

a)how good it actually is
b)how young everybody looked - especially Angel, AND how young Buffy was. After everything that's gone through, it really is hard to think of her as that heart-broken seventeen year old.
c)what am absolute joy is watching Angelus. Oh man. So good. Especially when teamed up with Spike and Dru.

Also, I think what the world needs is Angel/Buffy/Spike. It'd be hot. Come on, even Buffy wants it - and very graphically, I must add; that scene in the comics made me laugh so hard, lol. XD

And this is all a warm up for YAY NEW BONES. Because it's CLEAR that Booth >>>> Angelus >>>> Angel, BUT THERE YOU GO.

I seem to have the same reaction to MGMT and Klaxons, in that I VIOLENTLY like half of their songs with a BURNING PASSION and violently dislike the other half with the same burning passion.

Um.

And yet, Electric Feel and Kids both feel like ANTHEMS, you know? THOSE songs, that for some reason you can't shake off? Yeah, like that.

In other news, I just watched ep. 1x05 of Bones, which I apparently missed during my MARATHON* OF WIN and AWW old school Bones! Booth and Brennan's gazes of ~love~ weren't nearly as hardcore as they are now. :3 THE SEXUAL TENSION, IT JUST GETS BETTER. The episode was really good, though, for such an early one.

*I SWEAR, I wrote that as MARTHATON first. *headdesk* Obsessed much? Martha totally calls for it, though.

Let's all take a moment off from Who to rejoice in the adorkablness that is Bones.

I THINK YOU ALL WILL PROBABLY KNOW WHAT PART I'M REWATCHING. OVER AND OVER AGAIN. AND AGAIN. AND ONCE MORE. OMGGGG.

No, but really, the whole episode was just HAPPINESS rolled into GIDDYNESS and now I can't stop SQUEEING and making INCOHERENT noises and it's 3am but WHO CARES IT WAS WORTH IT and it was totally a good choice to finish Bones before Torchwood.

OMG I HONESTLY LITERALLY CAN'T STOP SQUEEING. ASL;DFJ.

Okay, now I'm up to date and I can say that I'm liking Angel: After the Fall a lot. Partly because issue 3 made me go all OMG WAIT WHAT again. Hee. There's a lot of 'WAIT, WHAT THE FUCK JUST HAPPEN' involved, but it's Angel, you're supposed to expect those, so that's okay. The same as with Buffy Season 8, it feels a bit too rushed - one of the downsides of the leap from tv to comic. BUT YES. NICE.

(Also, what I said last night, about my David Boreanaz love being missing for so long? I gave it a thought and maybe I was wrong. After all, I only started watching New Amsterdam BECAUSE the main dude looked like Boreanaz. SO YES. My love, it lives!)

And: Bones 3x05 - The Mummy in the Maze aka the AWESOME HALLOWEEN EPISODE was, in case you didn't assume from the capslock, INCREDIBLY AWESOME. EEEEH. ;ALSJKDFLASJDF.

Are the tattoos on his wrists Booth's or David Boreanaz'? Because both of the options are pretty, pretty hot, but if they're Booth's? I want backstory PLZ.

(Actually I would like backstory even if they were David's but, you know. Booth.)

Marathon progress: 2x18, baby. Why was 2x19 never aired, anyway?
