That is, indeed, David Tennant and his baby daughter. I don't even LIKE children, and I still made a sound that probably only dogs could hear. That is INSANELY cute, omg.

I'm really really behind on Doctor Who. As in, I still haven't watched the Christmas special. From 2008. Er. But I want to be caught up, mostly because, well, because I want to be in and be able to follow everyone else's posts, you know? So.

I'll be in England for the 5th season premier, which in theory sounds exciting (Who! In actual TV! On real time!) but I'm not sure I'll see it, as I don't think I could stomach an hour of the boy going OMG THAT LOOKS SO FAKE. (the boy, he is not a great sci-fi fan. I will train him though, in time. I'm already getting him Calvin & Hobbes, which can only translate into a love of comics later on. YES IT DOES IT TOTALLY DOES.) So yeah, don't know. Also I think I'll be at his parents' place that weekend, and I do want to give a good impression and perhaps that doesn't include jumping saying OMG IT'S SEVEN WE MUST WATCH WHO ALL TO THE SOFA NOW. That might be awkward.

So yeah. ANYWAY, case in point. SHOULD I WATCH THE SPECIALS Y/N? Is Matt Smith's hair crazier than Tennant's?

Yesterday I ended up hanging out with my mom and her best friend from university, who lives in Tijuana and comes a couple of times a year. I was dead tired and falling asleep on the table, while they smoked furtively and giggled when my mom's friend knocked on her aunt's door late at night to ask if she could come in. In short, I felt like the annoying little sister of a couple of teenagers wanting to stay out 'just a little longer, pretty please?' lol.

I made a new iPod cozy today. YAY ME. It is pretty and awesome even if there's some threads visible. XD

I'm going on holiday tomorrow, to Valle de Bravo and other little towns in Michoacan (the former is close to Mexico City, the latter a bit closer to my own state). I've never been, so it should be interesting. I'll try and take pictures if it really is as pretty as they say. :) Anyway, I'm not coming back until, uh, wednesday, I think, which kinda sucks because I have to register for the fall semester on Tuesday at 5pm. ARGH. So I'll have to go search for yet another crummy ciber cafe in there. BAH. STUPID SCHOOL, RUINING MY HOLIDAYS.

I still can't quite get the Who finale out of my mind. EEEER. Me no likes. Say what you want about Last of the Time Lords - it still had some awesome stuff and it wasn't nearly as bleak and depressing as this one. Yesh, stop it with the angst, Team Cardiff. o_O

Doctor Who 4x00 - Voyage of the Damned: ( A bit corny for my tastes, but it's Christmas so I'll forgive it. And apart from that, it was rather nice, wasn't it? )

I forgot to say, but I finished State of Play on Saturday night and WHOA, totally didn't see that coming. It was still really good, and the last scene was just fantastic. I don't really see how a second season would work, though, as much as I'd like to see it, because it honestly kept me at the edge of my seat all along. And really, but David Morrisey rocked the hell out of that last ep, didn't he?

Speaking of which, I went back to seeing Blackpool (I'd seen the first ep and then discovered the shiny that is Seven'n'Ace, so...), and while when I first started watching State of Play I was thinking 'lol, Ripley', now, all I can't think is 'lol, Stephen Collings with tacky clothes'. But I liked Stephen (Yeah, I know), and Ripley is so... hard to like. Except for the sideburns, which are too loltastic not to like them, haha.

Also, David Tennant's scenes with Sarah Parish are hot. Hot hot hot.

GUYS. I have thought about it over and over again and I've finally (finally!) come to a conclusion: WHAT SERIES 4 NEEDS IS MORE LICKING OF RANDOM STUFF BY TEN(NANT).

That, kids, would make a fine season. *nod nod*



(I wouldn't say no to have the Doctor licking his way into Martha's (or the Master's) mouth, but there you go. It would be a nice plus, though.)

Well, the fic is flowing much better now, thank God because I was starting to worry my muse had left me (again).

Anyway, in the same subject, have a rec:

Nothing but Flowers by Vali, Doctor Who, Martha/Ten, past Theta/Koschei, NC-17. Post Gridlock (somewhat), apart from being smoking HOT, this fic gives a wonderful and scary insight to the Doctor's mind. Incredibly compelling fic, although, while you can recognize both the Doctor and Martha easily, this takes their personalities to the extreme, and the result is somewhat dark.

I have a feeling this was what broke my muse, because I just couldn't seem to get back to my own characterisation of them both, it just shook me that bad. It was all worth it, though.

ANYWAY, I WATCHED AVATAR YESTERDAY AND YESSSSSS BUT THE AWESOME IS BACK. I do have a feeling season three will be the best one, if what I saw last night was any indication. It's much... darker now, isn't it? IN ANY CASE, PEOPLE WE HAVE ACHIEVED OZAI SIGHTING, I REPEAT, OZAI SIGHTING ;LADJASJKDF.

Oh, and I did get to see Blackpool's 1st episode, and oh, the crack it was so good! Me liiiiiiikes. Especially Tennant's oral fixation. *cough*
