( In which I talk about Journeyman and its shiny. ) Why, yes, I'm still bitter about it being cancelled. *seethes*

I went shopping today! While I'm all for pretty clothes, today's shopping spree was quite different, lol. First I went book store hopping and I bought Alice in Wonderland because I've always wanted to read it and it was there, all pretty, an in English! I also bought volumes 2,3, and 4 of Ex Machina HELLS YEAH. It's lovely to have it in physical format, even if I already have all of the issues out in digital format. SO MUCH LOVE FOR THIS COMIC. ♥

I also got myself a madeleine pan and three little tartlet molds and ZOMG I'm se excited to try them out! The madeleines look incredibly easy to do, too.

Flamenco classes finally started back this week, and you've no idea how glad I am. I depend on it a lot, because it always leaves me in a good mood and there's good conversation and gossip and it's just incredible fun. I've been dancing for 9 and a half years, I don't know what I would do without it.

I've been watching Journeyman for a while already, but three days ago I hit the Poing of No Return, meaning I've been watching it obsessively, lol. I can't believe how good it is, and how it STILL got cancelled. *fumes* So I really recomend it, guys, it makes me gasp in the most delighting way. *goes away to continue the marathon*

On mother's day/father's day/Christmas/first communions/birthdays etc. I always end up being the one doing the celebration card, because no one else in my family has any artistical talent whatsoever, lol. I always do them in like, five minutes, but they're sort of cute, so. Tomorrow's my mom's birthday (congrats mom!) ( and this is her card )

I feel like I'm drowning in homework, ugh. I have so much to do. ;___;

I re-watched Girl in the Fireplace the other day, and I gotta say it's really sad that I watched it with my uber TEN/ROSE FOREVER AND EVER goggles last time I saw it, because it's one wonderful, brilliant episode and Ten/Reinette is all sorts of awesome, really. Reinette herself, actually, is all kinds of awesome - that regal air, and complete trust in herself. And really, apart from the wangstastical single emo tear of pain in Rose's side, she was pretty adventurous and well written, as to show she doesn't need the Doctor around to be herself. And of course, there's Mickey. Who is always fantastic. And Arthur the horse. lol.

I have also seen the first five episodes of Journeyman, and I'm really, really liking it. It's interesting and smart and has good characters and one of the best title sequences I've ever seen in my life and I'll be v. very sad indeed if it's cancelled. ;___; SO GO AND WATCH IT, KIDS. YOU DON'T WANT ME TO END UP SHOW-LESS.

And now I'll be off, probably to read some Ten/Reinette fic before I go back to doing homework. *criez*

ETA: OH MAN. Apparently, Mexico's the second to last country Atonement will be realeased in! (second only to Argentina!) DAMN IT. Okay, granted, it was premiered in the Morelia Cinema Festival in October (which I so didn't know), BUT STILL. MARCH. WHAT THE HELL. I'm so downloading it, I do need my James McAvoy fix.
