Oh, squee, how I'd missed you. ♥

OH SHOW. SHOW. I could very well point you towards this post (spoilery as hell, obviously) and THAT'S PRETTY MUCH MY GLEEFUL REACTION. Now, let's hope I can manage lower case. IT'S HARD, GUYS.

Supernatural 3x11 - Mystery Spot: ) *draws hearts around show*

And in a completely unspoilery comment, Sam did look rather dashing this week, didn't he? *swoons*

Weeeell I'm sort of spoiled for the promo for next week's which I didn't want - those promos are too damned spoilery, kinda. I haven't seen a single one since this season started. Soooo, don't tell me, folks.

Happy birthday to [livejournal.com profile] swedish15!!

I know it's already over in Germany, but I wanted to say it again anyway. M'Dear Mister-I-Don't-Want-My-Name-To-Be-Known, I feel extremely lucky of having met you. You're a great guy, with incedible taste in mostly everything, and I wish our fandoms would be the same again, so we could go back to having long philosophical talks about them. :)) Wish you the best. *hugs*

---

In other news, I just came back home from flamenco class to be happily spoiled on the SPN 2x14 pics. Yes, THOSE pics. The cool as hell pics that made me OMG GASP IN SURPRISE AND DELIGHT AND THAT HAVE MADE ME ROCK IN MY CHAIR FOR THE LAST TEN MINUTES. Those ones. Waaaah, I'm so psyched up about it!! I'm not terribly excited about this Thursday's ep, but the next one? I'M SO THERE. *flails some more*

Anyway, here are the answers to the lyrics meme. Embarassingly enough, I don't remember the names of two of the songs. *HEADDESK* I know one of them is by Kent, but the other one I've no idea. o_O

Mmm, what else? I started reading Rayuela (Hopscotch) by Julio Cortázar today. It is really wordy but good so far. So far, it reminds me a lot of Travesuras de la niña mala by Mario Vargas Llosa, with the Paris scenery and slightly insane characters. I also finished Lullaby, by Chuck Palahniuk yesterday, and al;sdfkja;lsdkjf. So good. Intricate story, awesome characters and the details in this are wonderful, very much real and just on the border of macabre and morbid. A wonderful read, and I so can't wait to get my paws on the rest of this author's books.

My squee knows no limits.

HOLY SHIT THAT WAS SO DAMN AWESOME.

Supernatural 2x09 - Croatoan: )

BUT YEAH, KRIPKE, HOW COULD YOU HAVE DONE THIS TO US???

Heroes 1x11 - Fallout: )

I officially hate tv series hiatus(hiatuses? hiati?). They are mean and deserve to die. *nods*

*peeks out of the window* IT'S RAINING, WTF, IT'S DECEMBER!

Yaaaaayyyyyyy!!

I've just discovered a part of my hair that didn't end up quite as straightened as it should have. Grr. Anyway, I'm about to get ready to the party, yayz. Embarassing part is, I'll be dancing flamenco *headdesk*. The party's from one of my dancing classmates, and she wanted us to all go and give a bit of a show *sigh* Let's see how that goes - I'll try and take my camera. :)

OOOh, it is madness today! Not only do I have to start downloading Army of Ghosts (OMG I'LL CRY SO MUCH I KNOW IT I KNOW IT), but some of my favorite artsy authors are posting in [livejournal.com profile] shacking_up, the Kinky Doctor Ficathon over at [livejournal.com profile] little_bit_foxy has started posting, [livejournal.com profile] rosemaryandrue has posted her new fic and OMG [livejournal.com profile] dogdaysofsummer has started again!! (of which no one had informed me...)

This will be one hell of a wonderful weekend. :))) *is happy*

Can I hear a squee for X-Men?

I've just re-watched X-2.

God, but I'd forgotten how damn good that movie is. I love the way that even through things going asploady, there's still this wonderful characterization (Pyro getting in touch with his inner psycopath, anyone?), and oooh, but yummy. The entire movie. And Wolvering getting all sweaty while hunting people and then using his leather uniforms. I fucking love the leather uniforms.

Of course, now that I've become the shameless little shipper that I am, I watched it with my SUPER SLASHER EYES (registered)! But even without that, I just payed much more attention to the baby!X-Men, meaning: Bobby, John and Rogue. The way they interacte with each other is just so intriguing, and seeing John looking so alone breaks my heart.

Love, love, love this movie. Why the fuck did Bryan Singer had to go and elope with Superman of all people? Clark Kent is not as cool as Tom Welling makes him to be. Seriously. *sigh*

AND THERE'S NIGHTCRAWLER. That alones makes the movie. I truly want to have his little blue-tailed kids. (And now I wanna go and re-watch whatever little X-Men: Evolution I taped even when the translation to 'Girls dig teh fuzzy guy' doesn't pair up XDD)

Right. After this big pointless entry, I'll just saunter off to go and watch Satan's Pit. Can't believe we're already on episode 9 ;-;

tra-la-la-tra-la-la

I've been reading X-Men fic obsessively since last night. It's been glorious. I still have lots of homework to do (for tomorrow, even), but I've been working non-stop since last tuesday, and I just really, really needed a break. So I've just lazed around, and I haven't gotten that ahead with your drabbles, but nyah, I like having nice things in waiting to do. :)

We actually did something at Design Fundaments today! The wretched teacher finally asked us to bring acrylic paint, and I'm doing this odd cirquense (ha! I've made up a word! Never mind is the exact same way it's said in Spanish!) girl, but it's looking odd and she looks more like a clown. Huh. Her pink afro is cool, though...

I had my last writing class of the semester yesterday night. Our final 'exam' was to change the POV from Continuidad de los Parques, from the magnificent Julio Cortázar, and oooh, it was cool doing that, even if it was tricky and I did it on Sunday while trying to figure out the logistics of doing a team work in MSN XD It's always cool to see what all those people do with the same story. :))

I had to take my laptop to school today, for the same horrible done-in-MSN project, and we didn't stay at the end and my poor baby was left all along in the trunk of my car, getting as roasted as me with the heat, I'd think. Poor thing. *pets*

But yeah, WONDERFUL DRABBLE REQUESTS, PEOPLE, WONDERFUL. I love drabbling for other fandoms, and writing Fight Club fic was all kinds of orgasmic glee, siriously. XD

OMG *SQUEE* *is full of the Naruto love*

OMG OMG OMG, OMG!!!!

spoilers for Naruto 306 )

I've just caught up on the manga, since I was like, so behind it wasn't even funny. (chap 292, I think...) I'm digging how Sakura has FINALLY been brought up to both Naruto and Sasuke's level. I started as a Sasu/Saku and then Kaka/Saku shipper (I know, I know... HET! XD) before I moved on to the goodness of Naru/Sasu, so I've always liked how grown up she can be in the moments it counts, and I've NEVER really understood what's up with all the bashing; but at the end of the last arc, Kishimoto did forget about her a bit, and now she's SUPER COOL AND SUPER POWERFUL AND YAYZ! because she deserves it. And because they can now be the new Sannin and be great as a disfunctional team ^g^

Now all I have to do is finally get caught up with the latest Bleach *g*

Now, onto other matters: I'm writing Remus/Regulus, Remus/Sirius, but I've a grammar question: 'seeing from the corner of the eyes' is the right way to say it, right? Because we say 'del rabillo del ojo' which would mean the same thing, but I'm still not sure if I'm just inventing my own grammar rules... Which wouldn't be odd with me. XD Anyway, if it IS right, how do you use it? with 'through', 'in', 'on' or WHAT?

Also, [livejournal.com profile] moonix? digging the Tomte XD

I was less than 20 mts away from Diego Luna. asldkfasdfj *is dead*

Okay, so the reason:

I went to see this wonderful, beautiful movie called Solo Dios Sabe (Only God Knows) and I loved it to pieces. It's about Dolores, a Brazilian living in San Diego that goes to Tijuana with her friends and meets Damian, who keeps her passport so she can stay for a little while. It starts as a road movie, them going to Mexico City, falling in love and getting to know Mexico in the process (which is despicted beautifuly, as mystic and colorful as it is). Dolores goes back to Brazil when she finds out her grandmother has died, and Damian follows her desperately. From there, the movie goes magical since it starts dealing with both Mexican Santería, extreme Catholicism and Candomblé (no, Anne Rice didn't invent it) and the colors and photography are just gorgeous and hazy and aslfjsdfj worthy. And waaah, the music!! Julieta Venegas singing electro-bossa nova, percussions and increading tempos. Also, the love scenes were both steamy and creative (OMG HONEY ON SKIN), and they show hard R beats NC-17 any time.

I've no idea if it'll be promoted internationally (or at least, in a large scale), but if it is people, you should really, really see it. :))))

Okay, so now on the squeeing: After the film, the director/writer, Diego Luna, Alice Barga (the female lead) and two other producers sat on the stage (this is my universitie's all-purpose theater) and stayed for a great Q&A session. Stupid little me was seated on the FOURTH row, and when the movie ended I went out and when I realized what was happening I could only sit on the stairs by the middle of the room, but I had still a LOVELY, AMAZING VIEW OF MY PLATONIC LOVE OF MY LIFE. (*cough*) Both ther Director and him were quite, quite funny, and he's so cute and easy going and no one in the room could tear their eyes off him *sigh* Too bad he cut his hair, though. And why, oh why did I forget to take my camera???? *weeps*

Yay! Crisscrossed Pattern has been recced by the [livejournal.com profile] quibbler_report!

Hopefuly this will be publicity, since it only has one comment as of yet... T-T

EDIT: Pimping! This is a weird project from my old Art History teacher, about different expressions of fashion in the Tianguis Cultural, my city's largest subcultures meeting place, disguised as an alternative music/clothes/art/philosophy's market(I love that place, even when I haven't gone there in ages, since I have Japanese class at that time. *weeps* Anime was the cheapest in there...). Check it out, leave a comment (Norbert, my teacher is originally from the states, so he won't mind english at all), make him happy. :)
