I've been reading X-Men fic obsessively since last night. It's been glorious. I still have lots of homework to do (for tomorrow, even), but I've been working non-stop since last tuesday, and I just really, really needed a break. So I've just lazed around, and I haven't gotten that ahead with your drabbles, but nyah, I like having nice things in waiting to do. :)

We actually did something at Design Fundaments today! The wretched teacher finally asked us to bring acrylic paint, and I'm doing this odd cirquense (ha! I've made up a word! Never mind is the exact same way it's said in Spanish!) girl, but it's looking odd and she looks more like a clown. Huh. Her pink afro is cool, though...

I had my last writing class of the semester yesterday night. Our final 'exam' was to change the POV from Continuidad de los Parques, from the magnificent Julio Cortázar, and oooh, it was cool doing that, even if it was tricky and I did it on Sunday while trying to figure out the logistics of doing a team work in MSN XD It's always cool to see what all those people do with the same story. :))

I had to take my laptop to school today, for the same horrible done-in-MSN project, and we didn't stay at the end and my poor baby was left all along in the trunk of my car, getting as roasted as me with the heat, I'd think. Poor thing. *pets*

But yeah, WONDERFUL DRABBLE REQUESTS, PEOPLE, WONDERFUL. I love drabbling for other fandoms, and writing Fight Club fic was all kinds of orgasmic glee, siriously. XD

Ugh, why is it that people at writing class almost never comment after I read one of my stories? Granted, it was already nine o'clock and they all were looking as if they were ready to just jump off their chairs as soon as the teacher said so, but, still. Catalina, my teacher, really did seem to like it, even if it was odd sci-fi and stuff, and she almost didn't point anything negative on it (which is like, strange XD). Oh well, I got to hear this awesome story by a middle-aged lady, about life for an atheist family in London in 1710 -- which was wonderfully descripted and just really well handled.

Couldn't go to flamenco class since that cow, my Mexican Art History teacher got to the classroom at THREE. The class starts at 2, dammit. (we were actually just on our way out since we really didn't think she'd get there) Anyway, she left us go out way too late. Grrr.

Managed to write about 400 words for my Ten/Rose fic, and it only has a scene more. Yay! I wanted to finish it tonight, but I'm quite tired, so probably not. *is sleepy* Why, oh why do I always start writing the raciest parts of fics whenever I'm around people?? There's only so much inconspicuous I can be. And I bet people would be more interested if they saw me writing in English. *sigh*

I have homework for tomorrow. Which I haven't done. Which I don't think I'll do. I really need to stop procrastinating. Oh! And I finally got The Five Doctors. :) I can't wait to see it!!

Remember that plot bunny about a janitor falling to a water tank in a lab? I'VE COMPLETED IT YAYZ. You know the feeling after finishing a story, of complete relaxation and satisfaction? Totally riding it right now. It's almost 1000 words, and it's the longest I've written in Spanish in a loooong time. Which is, uh, sad. *looks shifty* I blame fandom and it's shiny.

And I know I haven't posted HP fic in like, ages, but I have been writing it! I've already sent my entry for the [livejournal.com profile] hp_angstfest, but I don't really know why isn't it up already. *shrug* It's hot, I promise. And then I have to write Remus/Sirius inky!sex. Because, Well, because. XD

Have I mentioned I ♥ my new story and it's cool and odd and features present tense, second person, Chemistry and a freaky mermaid? Have I?

I hereby name this week the 'cousin week'. I spent every single day since Monday with them. And damn them they did a sleepover yesterday after I'd gone away with the excuse of homework (and with DW in my head...) *growls* Oh well, this was quite a cool vacation, with Holy Week in Mexico City and Easter Week with teh family. *is satisfied*

So, going back to school tomorrow. *weeps* And I have to get up at 5:30 *weeps some more* Did some drabbles for my writing class. I'll translate them later, but for now, the one I like the most. :) (And, did you see the drabble challenge in [livejournal.com profile] inky_fingertips? Go. Do it.)

I hate, hate, hate the summer time system (daylight saving thingy?? I've no idea how it's called in English), because I like me sleep, but there is one perk. I had class today from 7 to 9, and I woke up at pass 6:30. My mom woke me up, actually, since either I turned off my alarm without noticing or I don't know what, and I was like 'Oh, it's late. I won't make it anymore.' and mom said 'okay, it's better if you don't go running while on the higway.' and I went back to sleep. XDDDD until 9 or something. it was glorious I tell you, to miss two of my three most boring classes in the week. :) So I stayed home all morning lazying around, and watching Doctor Who and generally doing nothing productive.

I actually started writing my [livejournal.com profile] wellymuck fic at Mexican Art History (with Violent!Pups, as suggested by [livejournal.com profile] dzturtlepower!), but then my friends arrived, and I had to switch places between them since Nelly wanted to seat next to her crush, and I knew that if they caught me writing in English they wouldn't leave me alone about it, and the fic is going to be sexy damnit, and yes I'm a little ashamed, sue me. So I started to write this original story about a mathematicist that cares too much about numbers to even notice his wife. It's going okay so far.

Writing class today! I recieved some good critique for Paraíso Gris (Which I totally haven't finished translating. Sorry.) and again, Rodrigo's story blew everyone away. *sigh* it was just so damn gorgeous. My assignment for the Easter holidays (OMG YAYZ VACATION!!) is minifiction, or better said: Drabbles. I'll have fun with that one... *smirk* Which is actually funny, since I was planning to make [livejournal.com profile] inky_fingertips' second prompt a drabble fest. What do you guys think?

Ugh, I'm so tired I'm actually planning to skip any kind of reading and just watch some Doctor Who and go to bed. But I don't want to get so behing on Wellymuck!

So sorry this has become such a movie-based journal, but as you can probably guess, I'm a huge cinema-whore, and you'll just have to bear with my squeeing. XD So a bit of a change in this entry, before I go see this gay mexican movie tomorrow ^___-

Also, I was sneaky sneaky and found out my remix recipient quite liked the fic, but I haven't got any feedback for it in my inbox. Let's hope it's just the server's fault or something...

Summary: A young couple from India move to England, and Trishna yearns for the world she left behind.
Author Notes: This was written for my writing class. The assignment was to get this dialogues we were given into a text, and make it flow. I only managed that half-way, so the talking still sounds a bit odd, but other than that I'm quite proud of it. :) It might be translated later.

The voting for the Unhappy Endings Challenge has began at [livejournal.com profile] darkones! My entry was Hold Your Last Breath (yeah, the creepy, creepy fic XD).

Vote for me?

In other news, today's writing class was amazing! The best asignment was to write just seven lines ENTIRELY made of sustantives. No adjetives, no adverbs; just sustantives and connecting words. It was easier than I'd thought (since my usual style is pretty much alike that anyway XD), but it was still really interesting. And it made everyone sound so damn poetic and gorgeous... Here's mine: (in spanish since I don't think I can translate it decently) Tell me what you think!

Duna
