Injustice of injustices - I got a ticket! Just outside my house, what the fuck, traffic officers never come this way! ;____;

Weeell I hadn't written something this twisted in a long time. o_O It was nice, though. Also, I like this dude. He's got quite a lot of potential as Stock Creepy Character. Hmm.

Look Into the Mirror
Original - 1600 words
It basically is about a very twisted kid that travels on time and makes out with himself. Yeah.

Everything starts when he brings his cat back to life. )
Music:: Zoé - Vía Láctea

I baked cupcakes today! Banana cupcakes with pecans and cinnamon and cream cheese frosting, actually. They're really really yummy and, FINALLY, kinda cute! I went a bit overboard with the food coloring, so the frosting is a bit ZOMG YELLOW, but they're still nice. :) YAYZ, especially after last week's fiasco, lol.

I also wrote a bit. Not exactly sure what it is, but I kinda like it. And I'd thought I'd evaded wing-fic. Hee.

Title: SOHW
Word Count: 725
Author Notes: [livejournal.com profile] zurizip gave me as prompt the title of a story she'd written, 'The Softness of his Wings', but I felt weird about using someone else's title, so. Acronym it is. Also written with [livejournal.com profile] lilian_cho's prompt: Delusional.

Sus alas se vuelven incómodas al tercer día.  )

And in English.
His wings become uncomfortable on the third day. )

This was heavily isnpired by this book I used to read a lot as a child: A Pack of Lies by Geraldine McCaughrean. I remember being really creeped by it, although it really wasn't that scary at all.

Title: Gemini
Word Count: 1000
Author Notes: A quick translation of: Géminis. I'm still not crazy about the ending, but I'm not feeling especially awesome right now to try and fix it.

It is raining when Alina looses her reflection... )
Music:: The Bravery - Fistful of Sand

Talk about speedy translations! It's pretty truthful to the original, though, so that's okay. :) I like how weird this actually turned out, lol. It's weird, though, a chromatic circle in Spanish is the spectre of colors, but in English it can also mean some weird musical thingy that I don't get. o_O It still fits, but... It's just weird.

Title: Chromatic Circle
Word Count: 890
Summary: The end is nigh. No one seems particularly surprised.
Author Notes: This is somewhat like magical realism? And/or surrealism? An alternative title was Dalí, after all. A quick translation of Círculo Cromático.

The end of the world gets delayed at the end of your street... )

Well, the apple pie was a success at my grandparent's house, so much that my grandma asked me to bake her an extra one tomorrow since she's having some friends over for lunch on Friday. o_O Oh well.

Well, here it is. It's still one of those stories that just work better in Spanish, because of the style it was written in, but oh well. I'll be translating Hedonismo next.

Title: Swell
Word Count: 1300
Summary: Olivia meets a real mermaid when she’s thirteen, with the too blue sky that speaks of drought and the sweat staining the pink dress she likes so much.
Author Notes: A hasty translation of Oleaje, one of my favorite stories I've written. Un-betaed, so sorry.

Music:: Sakuran soundtrack - Gamble

I am aware that I still haven't posted my reactions to OotP. Most of them are positive, though, so you can imagine. It's just-- I haven't felt all that happy or good all day long, so whatever. More on that tomorrow, probably, when I'm feeling better. So instead, have a short story.

Er, you guys know I hardly ever beg people to read my stories, but it's original, so I know it wouldn't be as popular as fanfic. So, um, give it a try, if you feel like it?

Title: Mythomania
Word Count: 3700
Summary: You run into him seven times in two years. He introduces himself with a new name each time.
Author Notes: A translation of Mitomanía. If it reads like a hasty translation, that's because it is, but I really wanted to have it done today before I forgot about it.

The first time you see him, he’s a Baron and you’re a debutant worried about the stain on your white gloves. )
Music:: The Killers - Somebody Told Me
nekare: (Night Watch)
I managed to change the name of this in the last minute, but if I hadn't seen it, the judges of the contest would've gotten a file named 'Slutty McSlutty' 0_o God, I'm so lame. Also, the title sounds much, much better in Spanish for some strange reason.

Title Whisper In My Ear, Make Me Blush
Rating: R
Word Count: 1319
Author Notes: This is somewhat of a hasty translation of Murmúrame Al Oído, Hazme Sonrojar, so it's bound to have mistakes. Written for a short story contest held in my college. Feedback would be love, yes. :)

You feed off the moans, of the sound of your name sighed once and again with shaky voices... )

Wrote a bit more for the [livejournal.com profile] nsn_roundrobin fic in my first class today. I couldn't write anything at the second class, since everyone was sitting way too close XD Also, I had a great dream yesterday, with mixed HP and Lost and with Sawyer-Remus (they were the same, in my mind.... for some odd reason.) in the shower having a brush with the dead in the form of his decomposed grandmother. Also, the shower Lily and James', and it looked like a cave. The rest of the dream was cool!

Since I'm so thorough, and I've a small window of time before I have to go to class (and, er, I don't wanna do any homework...), I translated some Zoe songs! (well, what can I say? I was listening to their first album to the way back from school XD) The post with the music sharing is here, btw. :)

If these look a bit weird, it may have something to do with me doing them in like, ten minutes. It's partly Zoé's fault, though, because theyr lyrics are weird ad hell XD (and I love them that way). Translation's the bolded parts.

Here's the translation for Asteroide, Deja te Conecto and Soñé! )

Well, I like the Spanish version of this much better, if I must be honest, but that's because I suck at translating. Writing in English directly feels sooo much different. Oh well. :) (also, for those who did read 'Vintage' a drabble some weeks ago, yes I did copy my own ideas. XD)

Title: Water Cycle
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 367
Genre: Romance
Author Notes: Written originally in Spanish some weeks ago for my writing class. The assignment was to get in ten words a classmage didn't like because of it's sound, and make it sound flowing anyway.

Her high heels reverberate in the short stairs, and the echoes traveling through the moth-eaten wood make him tremble a little
Music:: Yeti - the last time that you go
Mood:: 'tired' tired
