Today I wore an orange shirt, a purple beaded necklace and an army-green jacket. Me? A whore for secondary colors? Never! *headdesk* (I soooo wanted to take my red patent leather shoes too but decided that was Rather Enough, lol).

Anyway, I have to do lots and lots of homework (Oh God, I swear I'll sleep better once I'm done with this stupid assignment for Design III class) and I'll probably won't go to sleep in a looooong time so I'm posting this before starting:

My entry for this week's Illustration Friday - the theme was weddings. )

Anyway, here's some doodling. Just because. Um. )

In other news, I'm listening to The Bravery's latest album, The Sun and Moon and I'm really liking it! It's a bit mellower than the last cd, but it's still pretty good.

Talk about speedy translations! It's pretty truthful to the original, though, so that's okay. :) I like how weird this actually turned out, lol. It's weird, though, a chromatic circle in Spanish is the spectre of colors, but in English it can also mean some weird musical thingy that I don't get. o_O It still fits, but... It's just weird.

Title: Chromatic Circle
Word Count: 890
Summary: The end is nigh. No one seems particularly surprised.
Author Notes: This is somewhat like magical realism? And/or surrealism? An alternative title was Dalí, after all. A quick translation of Círculo Cromático.

The end of the world gets delayed at the end of your street... )

You know, for all that this is bizarre as fuck, I really do like this story, it's cool in its own way, and I'd certainly never written anything like it before (being the realism bitch that I am, lol). I'll probably translat it in a bit, it's pretty short, after all.

Title: Círculo Cromático

Well, the apple pie was a success at my grandparent's house, so much that my grandma asked me to bake her an extra one tomorrow since she's having some friends over for lunch on Friday. o_O Oh well.

Well, here it is. It's still one of those stories that just work better in Spanish, because of the style it was written in, but oh well. I'll be translating Hedonismo next.

Title: Swell
Word Count: 1300
Summary: Olivia meets a real mermaid when she’s thirteen, with the too blue sky that speaks of drought and the sweat staining the pink dress she likes so much.
Author Notes: A hasty translation of Oleaje, one of my favorite stories I've written. Un-betaed, so sorry.

Music:: Sakuran soundtrack - Gamble

I am aware that I still haven't posted my reactions to OotP. Most of them are positive, though, so you can imagine. It's just-- I haven't felt all that happy or good all day long, so whatever. More on that tomorrow, probably, when I'm feeling better. So instead, have a short story.

Er, you guys know I hardly ever beg people to read my stories, but it's original, so I know it wouldn't be as popular as fanfic. So, um, give it a try, if you feel like it?

Title: Mythomania
Word Count: 3700
Summary: You run into him seven times in two years. He introduces himself with a new name each time.
Author Notes: A translation of Mitomanía. If it reads like a hasty translation, that's because it is, but I really wanted to have it done today before I forgot about it.

The first time you see him, he’s a Baron and you’re a debutant worried about the stain on your white gloves. )

So, I went to see OotP yesterday at midnight, which was was all kinds of fun and I learned some distressing news about uni and you'll hear more about it in a while but for now, yay, I finished the short story yesterday! So posting right now and I will try and translate it because this story very much wanted to write itself in English but I put my foot down and said no very strictly, lol.

I don't know what's up with me writing all this romance stuff in original stories, I didn't use to be like thiiiiis, what's wrong with me? ;__;

I wanted to do t-shirt designs yesterday (in the same balloon fashion, only, you know, more seriously), but I ended up doing my regular cutesy stuff XD Anyway, I liked it, so.

Girls should be careful when bying balloons, the rate of flown-away children is distressingly high nowadays, especially with that increase in daydreaming. )

Markers on Bond paper, 20x40 cmts (8x16 inches).
Crappy photo because it didn't fit in my scanner. Inspired by the endless (hee, pun intended) hours I've spent reading Sandman and loving Delirium.

Oh, my baby blue marker, how I weep for it. It actually bailed on me last night, that's why the left side looks all weird. It's my own fault, though, because I know I shouldn't use markers for such big zones if I'm not going to be using solvent, and I can't use solvents on Bond paper, it's far too cotton-y.

I have an ending for the PotC fic, yay! Now I only have to finish those other two scenes and I'll be able to start proofreading.

Okay, now, some artz:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, [livejournal.com profile] moonix!!!

Oh Anna, what can I say about one of the greatest, sweetest girls I've ever met? You just plain rock, and it's been just incredible to have known you for so long already. *blows kiss* And okay, as a gift: We're both not speaking to HP nowadays, and we have such different fandoms that you get original boy slash instead! *g* This… is not what I wanted to write for you. I wanted to write pretty, pretty descriptions but somehow I ended up with lots of dialogue so, um, sorry! It’s still boytouching, though, and that’s always a good thing. *g* (no porn, though. Tragic, I know. ;___;)

Don't Look Back, Don't Look Down

Went out with my best friend for the first time in what feels like ages. It was nice. She talked rather A Lot about how awesome her boyfriend is, though. *sigh* And it was nice to talk in real life about the guy I'm crushing on - my college friends all know him and hang out with him and they like mocking far too much.

Anyway, my family decided not to wait for me to get home before going to have tacos and ARRRRGH. THAT IS MEAN. Granted, they brought me back some, but grrrrrh, there was some mixup and they got me the tongue tacos sliced instead of chopped which sucks. And they were cold. *sigh* Er, why do I have the feeling this paragraph will squick most of my American flist not used to eating tongue? *shifty eyes*

Remember that goldfish my mind told me to draw in a dream? Well, it's done! (what isn't, though, it's all of my homework. *headdesk*)

fishy fishy, bite my toes, will you? )

Acrylics and ink on showcard paper.

The lines aren't as, you know, straight, as I wanted them to be, but I drew everything completely by hand, so it's not surprising. It actually took hours because show card paper isn't actually white, it's this weird grey-ish color, so I had to paint all of the background white.

Crappy photograph (para variar y no perder la costumbre) because it just figures than when my dad actually gets my scanner to work properly, this is far too large to fit it.(It's about 30x37 cmts, 11x14.5 inches according to teh internetz)

Mmm, I'm not sure if I'll draw the other thing my mind is telling me to, the angsty Robin (Tim Drake, actually) sitting on a bench after the end of the world. Probably saying 'Holy apocalypse, Batman!'
