There's nothing like listening a cd for the first time. Halfway through the first song now. Boy, they went psychodelic this time around, didn't they?

And they even made Ximena Zariñana's stupid song sound good! SUCH IS THEIR MAGIC.

WELL, I CAVED. And bought myself Zoé's 'new' album, 281107. There are three factors involved in this decision:

1. how incredibly cheap it was.
2. how incredibly pretty the artwork is.
3. how incredibly gorgeous it all sounds. ♥

I still haven't finished listening to, and yet I'm already in love. It's like being there in the audience watching them live again, which, you know, las;jflsjdf. I've always said and always will say that Zoé is one of those bands that can manage to sound even BETTER while live, crappy audience aside.

I had never before in my life bought a concert cd. This is a hint of the AMAZINGNESS of this, lol.

The fact that they've dropped Asteroide, Veneno and Fotosíntesis off their set list is sort of sad, though. And Whatever as well - they opened with that one the first time I saw them, and it was mmmmmm so good.

I did get to see SPN on Friday (and it was ~awesome~) but I still haven't seen Doctor Who. BUT. It was for a good cause! It was!

Because yesterday was the Coca Cola Zero Fest and it was WONDERFUL. YAY.

Ugh, I've felt rotten ever since I went to bed last night, it seems like that cold I've been avoiding all summer long is finally catching up to me. ;__;

The filling's not that visible now that they're cold... And that's a big strawberry, but still, see what I mean when I say they're really really small? The chocolate glaze wasn't as smooth as I wanted because I was out of corn syrup, but oh well, it's still oh so tasty like that.

I originally made this batch to take to the weekly family reunion, but now that I've tasted them with icing... oh man, they're so so good, and I really want them all for myself. *g*

In other news, I'm green with envy because dixie_pinky got to meet Zoé, omg!

I got my hair cut today! There might be pictures later. I also drew a bit for this week's Illustration Friday, so that might be up soon, too. Also, I haven't written ANYTHING whatsoever today, ugh. I'll try and put myself to it right now.

And there is wank over the Doctor Who fandom. It's not as large as the Martha is a slut! fucktardness (which, honestly, made me a bit ashamed of being in this fandom, it was just so mean and stupid), but there it goes. God, Rose is gone GET IT OVER WITH. I love Rose, I love her dearly, but Doctor Who is Doctor Who and no companion will last forever. (And it's not like the Doctor didn't love every single one of them and shagged them silly, too.)

Finished Smallville's 2nd season, and it was lots better than the first one, much more character development, less freak of the week. And the first episodes of season 3 have rocked my socks, which is no surprise seeing how much I swoon for Red-Kryptonite!Clark (he'd be scary if he were to permanently stay like that...). Oh, and Tom Welling's hair grew a bit. He looks edible.

I've been incredibly tired all day long, I nearly fell asleep during today's lesson with my grandpa, and to top it all, my blood sugar lever went down today just before eating, and I was shaking all over, *sigh*. Went waxing and had a facial today. One word: Ouch.

Mmm, there's this German movie that I want to download, White Noise, partly beecause it's the same actor as Goodbye Lenin! (which I loved), and partly because it's about schizophrenia. But my drive is pretty much full. Mmm, questions, questions.

I just saw the new Evanescence video. I'm still not sure what I think about the song, although it's mostly positive. I really, really want Amy's wardrobe, though. Oh, and the random green-eyed guy was really hot. *is shallow*

Yesterday, late at night, I saw a pretty cool music video. The animation was both cute and impeccably done, matching the lyrics. It had a pretty good dark atmosphere, and low, muted colors that fitted very well - all of that without mentioning the nice cameos. So, this all sounds very good, so, what's the bad part of it, you'll be wondering. That it was a ( Tatiana ) video.

Clearly, there's something horribly wrong with humanity. *weeps*

I'm downloading the Nana movie, because I was going through fan pages and the casting seems sooo good (it's like, every actor fits their character, or something), and because the actor playing Nobu is hot. As in hot with a BIG, capital H. *drools* I'll let you know if it's any good.

I'm still writing my sentences - so much for finishing today - and oooh, but I suddenly want to write Nine-era fic. Don't ask me why, but I do. So there's been some Nine/Rose, some Rose/Jack and more importantly, some Nine/Rose/Jack OT3 goodness *g* Oh my, but this is fun!

CRAPPY NEWS TOUGH: Zoé will be signing autopraphs on the 26th. I won't come back from New York until the frikin 27th. GRRRR. Not only will I be missing the concert, but I'll miss the chance to see them in person. *weeps again*

Esdrújula. A grammatical rule for accentuation, saying that all the words with the tonic syllable in the third to last syllable must always be accentuated. I love this word because not only it's the living example of the rule, but it also has such a nice ring to it (the tongue just rolls so pleasently around the strong drú), and because it just can't be translated to English.
